I had that first border punch just over a year and it wasn't used a lot. But one day a couple of the scallops just refused to cut! Tried all the sharpening methods, etc, and gave up. |
I have only used the new scallop punch. I had trouble lining up the scallops with the printed base. They always had a tiny peak between scallops every place where I moved the punch.
Then I found that my scallops only line up on the left side of the base as I have the front of the punch facing me.
So I must start my edge with the actual punch at the end of the paper and move it to the left as I punch. I cut a longer piece of CS to allow for where I must start it
If I move the CS to the right then the scallops are messed up
