Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the week ending June 16, 2013
Hi CAS Stampers,
Those of you who read this thread regularly are probably familiar with the wonderful Nancy Littrell. She starts this thread every fourth week. This is her week, but she ended up in hospital the other day with serious arterial blockages and had to have immediate surgery to have stints put in. She's home now and starting to feel much better but is not up to browsing SCS for her favourites.
So I'm starting the list for her, and I encourage lots of you to add your favourites so that Nancy has a nice list to look through while she's recuperating.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps:
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the web address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Hit Enter twice to add a blank line. Repeat as many times as needed for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.

Thanks so much Susan for starting the thread for me. Each day I am feeling much better and can't wait to start spending more time on SCS admiring all your beautiful and creative CAS cards. TFS and esp. for your positive thoughts and prayers. I CAN't wait to be my normal active self with my DH. Life is Good!

Thank you so much, Lydia, for mentioning my card here. I'm not usually a CAS girl (but a wannabe), so being included here is especially rewarding! Thanks Karen for letting me know.
A huge thanks to Lydia for listing my 10YO son's (Legoboy) School Chickie Thanks card among her CAS favorites this week. He's off at school right now (just over a week left until the end of the school year!), but I canNOT wait to show him when he gets home. He will be ecstatic! He has been soooooooooo into cardmaking these past few weeks and has been asking me to check the daily SCS challenge for him each morning. He squeezed in making his card for today's CAS challenge already before he headed out for school this morning and can't wait to upload it after school. Thank you for encouraging this little guy's creativity--little does he know how many great skills he's practicing (fine motor while creating, math while cutting and measuring, writing and spelling while composing his card post, typing, common courtesy and politeness when commenting on others' cards) while he's having so much fun! All in a completely safe community environment. Thank you!!
Also a huge thanks to Karen for commenting on his card to let him know he was a favorite. Otherwise, we'd never have seen it!!

I've been following along with his work for a while, Emzi...and he does an absolutely stupendous job! I'm impressed with him... And not only his cardmaking! He's a very poised young man. Tell him for me, "Way to go!" and give him a high five!
