Thank you for sharing! I don't know what black hole I've been hiding in, but I had never heard of ConsumerCrafts! Looks like they have a lot of cool stuff! Off to shop I am!

LOL...I've ordered from them several times and have always been please with their products and service.
You truly are an enabler!;) I'm new to washi and only have 3 rolls. I've been holding off since it would be expensive to order every design I would like. I figured for a buck a roll I should at least check them out. I wound up ordering 61 rolls!!!
Washi tape can be used for all sorts of things. It can be used in place of ribbons for borders and accents. Torn pieces can be used as elements in scrapbook layouts and altered items. Some people have covered pieces of cardstock and punched out shapes with them. I made a small chipboard box to fit in the cubby of one of my organizers, and covered the front with washi tape.

Thank you for the info--good to know!

I did not get the washi for $1 -- it was $2, which is still a pretty good deal. They also had very inexpensive sequins (37 cents) and embossing folders for $3. I got a few, including this Henna/Mehndi that I've never seen before.
They have $1.97 shipping this weekend for orders over $25 (no code required).
I just got my order of tapes yesterday. I was surprised because they are half the size of my other tapes. I guess for a dollar I can't complain, but there's no way I would pay $4 for them. I think their suggested list price is misleading. Other tapes do go for that much but are twice the size.
I never thought I would use much either. I figured I would just use it as a border or ribbon replacement on cards. But then, I made a chipboard box (something I had never done before), and wanted to cover it in washi tape. I discovered that you can go through it quickly, especially with the narrow tape. Unfortunately now that I've used it, I keep thinking of bigger projects to use it on!
