Is anyone using an app for keeping track of their scrapbooking supplies that they like? I have heard of one called "scrapbooker"....would like to be able to keep track of things on my iphone
It's an awesome app - once you play around for a bit and get used to all it can do you might want to purchase it. You only get one board with the free app. It's a $4 or $5 app and you can create as many boards as you need.
I decided to buy the app so I could use it with iCloud. I want the info on my phone also, but don't want to type on the tiny keyboard. I see a lot of typing in my future, lol!
I have all android based things so I started spreadsheets in Google Drive and that has worked really well for me so far. I then have everything synced on my tablet, laptop, and phone.
I got "Scrapbooker" and have just started to use it. So far, I really like it. Takes a bit of time to get your stuff in there but it looks like something I'm really going to like.

I'm keeping track of Spellbinder & other dies. Also CUTTLEBUG & other embossing folders. Hopefully, this will keep me from buying duplicates or folders close to something I already own.
I copy and paste pictures of my diecuts into a dropbox folder. (I have different folders for different companies.) That way I can access it from my phone, ipad, or anywhere. I know it's probably not what you're looking for, but it works.
Anyone know of an app for Android? It looks like these are for iphone/ipad only ... thanks!
Have a look at Memento Database. It isn't just for scrapbooking but you can enter by barcode from your camera (which I love) by dowloading an app that reads barcodes.
You can sync and edit via google docs.
I've inventoried other stuff too.

Bento (for Mac) and/or Evernote (a free app) are great tools for organizing and keeping track of items you have. I personally have Bento. I have it on my computer and iPhone and never had a problem with them syncing. I have a "library" for my stamps, cards I sell, embellishments, ink colors (so I know what I have and what I need), embossing folders, copic markers, prismacolor pencils and anything else that I need to keep track of (DVD collection). You can design your own template and enter any info you need to. I can now search for Valentine and see all my stamps, embossing folders, etc that I have set up under that category. I love it. Now that I have mine set up, it is easy to add to.

I just started using memento. KoffeeKat would you mind sharing the libraries you made?
I crochet quite a bit (mainly afghans for gifts and babies). I made a library in Memento to keep track of my Crochet Projects with photos.
Hi Mary, I'd love to but no idea how at present. Might take a while to work it out because I just increased my stash by a bundle of alcohol markers and I'm too busy playing with them to play with my computer.
Seriously though, I will look into how to do it. Nothing on Android is hard and I know I saw the function somewhere.

yes...I use it to keep track of what I have. I have different folders for different types of supplies (current stamp sets, retired stamp sets (I'm a Stampin'UP demo), embossing folders, etc). You are able to tag each item and it makes searching for something VERY easy!!

Would you mind doing a quick walkthru of how you setup your supplies in Evernote?
You said you have different folders for different types of supplies. Do you make a list within a folder? or does each item get it's own note within a folder?
I am really wanting to inventory my embossing folders. I have some cuttlebug, some sizzix etc.

Any tips and tricks?
I've only entered my Stampin'Up ones so far, but I enter each embossing folder as a separate note within the Embossing Folder notebook. I add a picture of each embossing folder in the note...that allows me to "see" the embossing folder when I open that notebook. If you send me your e-mail address, I can email you the evernote notebook....it wouldn't let me add it here....invalid file extension.
