Default Stampin Up - On the Beach stamp set
SU has an old stamp set called On the Beach. In it , there is a cluster of palm trees and island plants in one stamp. It looks a little bit like a desert island.
I cannot find that set at a reasonable price.
Does anyone know of another stamp or stamp set that has a stamp that resembles a desert island?
Thanks very much for any suggestions you can offer.

Not sure if that's exactly what you're looking for, but that's what I thought of when I read your description.

Not sure how closely this one resembles what you're looking for, but here is one from Inkadinkado...I found this set at Michaels for $5.99 on clearance, but it is also available online:

I'm confused. SU On the Beach set doesn't have any stamp resembling the one you describe. Are you sure you have the correct set name?

Stampin' Up! sometimes uses the same name for different sets; there are 2 sets named "Gently Falling", and there are 2 sets (that I know of) named "On the Beach". The one lovetocruise is looking for is currently up for bid at $49.95 on eBay, and looks like this...

Whoa...I've been a SU customer since the early 90's and this is the first time I've ever seen this stamp set. :eek: And wouldn't you know, it's one I would have bought if I had! :confused: Rats....

Caiin, you are absolutely correct. I like how it has all the foliage under the trees, looking more like an island. Of course I love it, and nothing else is comparing to it. :(
