Yes Im early but I had to post this early to England before our friend goes away for his holiday to celebrate, and I may not have time to post cards for a while with family arriving on Sunday.
I did say I needed to get ahead of the game, heres my Christening Card for our Grandson, hes just arrived on his first visit to England for his Christening and will soon be heading to Spain.
Glad to see someone's ahead of the game. I'm becoming a slacker, can't seem to learn how to say NO!! I went from 1 full time job to unemployed with a temp volunteer dog walking stint to 2 part time jobs, starting my own biz and a dog walking stint. Oh my, would someone find me a bed....hopefully my friend will soon be able to let the dogs out on her own soon, she is doing really well.
So, Slacker Sheri finally got the challenge posted:
My first two cards made in May for use in May were taken to Sunday School class for everyone to sign for two of our homebound ladies. I'm putting them in the mail today. No bling on those.
I have already sent two birthday cards from my stash. I'm already late sending a birthday card to my aunt in Michigan. I'll need at least five more birthday cards, two more "Naomi" cards, and who knows what else for May.
Sheri, here is my Bling card! I put a whole string of bling on it!
This is going to a friend as a thank you for letting me come over and play with all her stamps and she even fed me! LOL
I made a thank you card, but I'll have to put something upbeat and cheerful inside as the front looks rather gloomy. I'm thinking about something like, "As God rains on the just and the unjust, so you have been so very kind to me."
I've been wanting to try the dryer sheet technique, and there was a YCDI challenge this morning to do so. I like the results and will make more of these. I'll use this as one of my May birthday cards.
One is a thank you I need. I was thinking of using the Bible Verse card for either praying for you, or a sympathy card I need. Do you think it would be okay for a sympathy card?
They both fit the bling challenge too.
I've been making cards, just not finding time to upload. I finished one this morning for two Friday challenges. This will be for one of my May birthdays.

This might be my last card that I need for a May birthday. If I make more, they'll just go into my growing stash. I've been using some of my personal stash for the Card Ministry lately. I might have to bundle some up and mail them off to one of the many worthy causes.
I am so far behind on the challenges. Most of the cards I made this month were sympathy cards but, I did need a birthday card for a friend and I hope this qualifies for the May 1st challenge which was to use "bling". Does glitter count as "bling"? Sweet Cake
