JUN13VSNMINI3 ~ Friday, May 3 ~ 7:00pm EST *Circles*
TITLE: Summer Circles
HOSTESS: Angie (ohmypaper!)
KEYWORD: JUN13VSNMINI3
DAY/DATE: Friday, May 3
TIME: 7:00pm EST
When I heard we were going to play "Dog Days of Summer" my first thought was SUN! Where we live summer means white hot sun. During our Dog Days of summer it's very rare to even see a blue sky, it's just a humid white! It didn't take much of a leap for me to go from sun to circle since I have been quite taken by circles on cards lately! My challenge to you is use circles on your card. I would like to see more than one circle! They can be in your Designer Paper, stamped images, Die cuts, etc.
It wasn't all that long ago that I was new to stamping and didn't have tools to make circles and my DP lacked this geometric shape so if you happen to be in a similar spot here are a few ideas for you: Dip a pencil eraser in ink and dab on paper to make a fun background. Take a glass, press it in ink and give your paper "coffee rings". Cut out circles in different sizes, crumple it, then open it up and layer them together to make a flower. Brads or buttons are circles...and I imagine you can come up with even more ideas.
1. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 10:00 PM EST ON Monday May 6th.
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. We have a special gallery for the Dog Days of Summer VSN . When you click on Member Galleries to access the drop-down list, either scroll to the very bottom of the list (or just hit the End key which will take you straight there), and upload to that gallery .

It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your layout is seen. Thanks so much for playing along!!

Oh gosh! I'm must be losing my mind. I KNOW that I posted a reply about my card for this challenge, but it's not in this thread. It's not in the hostess thread either. Very strange. I wonder if I previewed it but then forgot to "submit" it.
Anyway, I said something like I'm always going around in circles anyway, so this was a good challenge for me. Thanks Angie!

OOOps!!! I called him Jack! Don't know why I was thinking Jack Peppard. Oh well, you are used to my oopsies!!! I miss you too!!!! Life has been way too crazy lately!
Trying to think outside of my box a bit, not a skill I do very well. I think it turned out okay, though. I'll have to try this again with different color schemes.
Hi everyone I guess you will all be thinking of bed soon but it's only lunch time here so I'm partying on.
Great challenge Angie I really loved doing it and here it is.
