Today's challenge ... should you choose to accept it ... is to stamp your image (whether in the background or as a focal point) and then use an embossing folder to add texture to your image. Don't be afraid of it, just let your imagination go!! I love embossing folders ... probably one of the BEST things that have happened to papercrafting in the past 10 years!!
Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows: One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

Such a pretty sample, Wendy. I also love embossing folders and will never have enough, although I do have my favorite go-to folders. I hope to make a card for your challenge in the next few days. I have to survive VSN Mini first.
This will be a push for me because I rarely emboss anything other than sentiment panels, LOL. But your gorgeous card is certainly an inspiration. I'll get my thinking cap on at work this morning!
thanks for the fun challenge, I keep forgetting to emboss designed stuff, usually just one plain color or white. Was fun...here is my birthday card for my friend.. .FOR YOLANDA

Wendy- perfect friday challenge! I had forgotten how cool it is to do embossing on a stamped image! I used SU's Stipple Hydrangea, and added some posies and a dc butterfly- card is embossed with CB's Textile Textures ef. Here's Flowers and Butterfly
