Okay, I have always been meaning to get this set, and now that it is retiring I am going to order it. Do most of you have it in wood? Can't decide whether to get clear or wood for this particular set?

I was going to suggest that unless you want it new, there's a good chance you'd be able to get a used set from any of the demos who can't afford to keep retired inventory. Unless things have changed and it didn't come up on my radar, I know they used to be able to sell them once they were retired.

Yes, thanks, I was thinking that too, but I was also thinking since this is such a well loved set, people still may want to hang onto it. And I probably wouldn't be finding a gently used set either if one was selling?

I think the more business-minded demos clear out all retired stuff. But I can see the appeal of a new, unused set .
