Good morning, Angie! I can't believe it's the end of the month already. I have a dr. appointment in about an hour; so, by the time I get home, at least one of today's HYCCT challenges should be up . . . and the countdown will begin.

We are going to try starting a little bit later this time... so it will be 6 & 7 pm EST or 5 & 6pm Dallas time.

Evening ladies. I'll stay up til the first one is posted so I can sleep on it. I wouldn't be able to make it thru to early hours of the morning for the last one.

This year has been the smoothest I've managed the challenges. This time last year I was also trying to move house, clean a house and repair a house. Too much.

Envelopes... Amazon.com: Columbian CO198 Invitation Envelopes A2 4-3/8 x 5-3/4 Inches, White (Box of 100): Office Products

My husband has turned our family into an Amazon on-line purchasing family...I seldom leave home to shop (any place other than our little town is a 30-minute drive), he works in the metro (an hour one way to work on a good day).

Last night before bed my husband asked each of us...Anyone have something they need to order from Amazon? Notice his choice of word..."need"...'cuz we each have a want list too! We seldom purchase with shipping fees because our daughter has a Amazon Prime being a college student.

I also order my RSVP Amazon.com: Pentel R.S.V.P. Ballpoint Pen, 0.7mm Fine Tip, Black Ink, Box of 12 (BK90-A): Office Products for the little addition to notepads coordination fun!

Now you are messing with my head because you didn't make the changes to the thread that I subscribed to so that I would have ALL the important information of finding the mini on Friday night!

Sadly I usually stay on the computer until the challenge is posted

I got addicted somewhere along the line this month...and have had lots of fun making these cards...

Good morning ladies! Have a busy day planned. Lunch with a friend, some shopping, and Trunk or Treat at church tonight. Not sure if I'll be able to fit challenges in today or not but can finish them up tomorrow.

Is there a mailing deadline for cards? I should be able to get mine mailed by early next week.

Good morning all! It is rainy, windy and nasty here in N Central Indiana. Some of the nearby towns have moved their trick or treating to Friday, but so far no change here. We'll be having our Fall Festival at church tonight no matter what so it will be interesting to see if the weather brings more in or causes more people to stay home.
I'm only one card behind so hopefully I'll be able to keep up today. I am heading out of town to accompany my DH to his marathon in Indianapolis tomorrow so I'd like to get it all done before I go.

There is only one time zone set for Queensland and it stays that way all year long. I'm sure those lovely people in the city would like to change that, but they haven't succeeded yet.

Are we there yet?

I don't think I can stay up to see the new challenge in. I'm up at 4am every morning so I'll only miss the start by a few hours. Yawn.

I've lived in areas that practiced daylight savings time all my life until we moved to Indiana. Then, a few years back, they changed to participating like the rest of the nation and you would have thought the governor had committed a crime! It is years since that and people still talk about it in those kind of terms and for months after the time change they'll be saying "It really is ___ clock" It cracks me up!

Interesting.

Now that I come to think on it I had kids knocking on my door once when I lived in town. Since it's not part of our traditions I found it very strange to have kids I didn't know turn up on my door step, masked, unaccompanied and at night. Naturally I had no treats to hand out either.

Rubyvale is way outback. Or at least it's half way there. Makes me look like I live in a suburb of Brisbane, lol.

And yes we are there now. Woo hoo.

I've live with it in other places. But the thought of living with a cranky old man for the duration of summer should they ever change it.....well it doesn't bear to think about it. lol. He'd never cope. He works at sun rise every day. It's a nice treat to see the sky lighten as you say goodbye during the summer months.

I have a couple cousins that lives in Brisbane! My favorite cousin lives in the USA but is starting paperwork for a visa as the last remaining USA family member...she just found out it could take 10 years to get that visa ...I'm not complaining because once she moves I wont have my favorite cousin here anymore but she was planning to go next year!

If it's anything like what moved through here last night (headed east) it's a wicked storm.

Here's our statue of Stevie Ray Vaughan this morning.

You weren't out walking in it were you?!

The rain is supposed to move through here by 6, but we'll see.

This poor lady just called in - she had to be rescued - she lost 18 horses and several of her dogs - maybe 5 miles from my house.

When it rains here (which is nearly never) it seems like it's always an apocalyptic rain - we got nearly ten inches.

Oh heavens no I wasn't walking - it thundered and lightninged all night. Storm just cleared our county at about 7:30. Momma needs a nap!!

Do you order by clicking into Amazon through the link on the Forums at Splitcoaststampers, down on the right-hand side under the Member Companies and Fan Club logo. It's a great way of supporting the site volunteers . I wish it applied to amazon uk and fr as well, because I do more of my shopping through those, but I always try to click through when I do buy from amazon.com
You can also access it by clicking on the bottom line of Lydia's signature .

Oh no!!! That's awful, the poor woman. (Amazing photo, too!!). It's been bad in Europe and the UK too with quite a few fatalities, but as always we seem to have been spared the worst of it.

I'm feeling so sad for all the little kiddos who are expecting to Trick or Treat tonight (including my two grandchildren). It's been raining steadily here since around 11:00 last night, with no sign of clearing up : (

Well, enough reading and procrastinating - I am 5 cards behind if you count all 3 of today's, so I need to get a move on!
