Hello and welcome to the third annual Hope You Can Cling To Challenge! We thank you for your participation in this inspiring (and fun!) event!
The greatest thing when dealing with an illness is the hope that you or your loved one will be feeling "ship shape" again soon. My challenge to you is make a shaped card - no circle, rectangle or square cards.

UPLOADING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. All Hope You Can Cling To Challenge Entries must be uploaded to the Hope You Can Cling To Gallery, with the specific challenge keyword, no later than November 7th, 2012 at 12:00 Noon Central Time to be eligible for our fabulous prizes! Post a link to your entry in this thread.
2. You may not combine challenges, but you are welcome to create multiple cards for each challenge.
3. Please remember to put in the correct keyword when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
4. Please package all challenge entries with an envelope, protected with a clear plastic bag and mail them to our partner at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center to benefit patients being treated for breast cancer and their family. We would like for them to receive cards throughout the month of October, but we understand if you'd like to mail all your cards at once.
5. Since these cards will be used by visitors for patients, most should be blank inside, but feel free to send cards with messages of hope for the patients in addition to your challenge cards!

Jeanne- great challenge! I used a recycled card for my background, and added a daisy border with black smash tape on the card panel underneath. My son loved dinosaurs as a child, so I used this brachiosaurus stamp from SU's Dino-Mite set, and added my sentiment with felt sheet lettering and a stamp- here's U R Sweet

Now that I got inspired by the super cards in the gallery- I dug out my Nestie's nested ducks, and got out some patterned yellow dp. Realized the ducks needed some shape outlining, so I added that, and jewel style brads for eyes. Here's Mother Duck and babies

lol... I thought about an owl. I actually have one ready for another challenge. Love that die!
I'm thinking of getting it for a friend who loves owls, after seeing all your gorgeous creations with it. I was looking on eBay this morning. Of course, I'd have to get something for myself to to make the carriage cost-effective ;-).
sorry these are coming in so late... I figure I will be ending up using the evenings on the weekends to catch up because, we got our rental house keys back early... (it's ok we've already re-rented it but, I have a little more cleaning a bit of painting to do this next week or so)
