I figured I would wait to order until everything I really want is back in...
...then I saw that some of the stamps are in, and one of the ones I want is on the list! I really want the Christmas Light by Dina. And the die is in stock. So are Dina's Grunge Borders and the Clouds and Rainbows dies. That more than blows my shopping spree. I may just have to order more along with it. Terrible problem, that one :rolleyes:
Now I just have to wait to hear from them about my prize...

Thank you. I still need to learn more embossing after I die cut the circles, but in time. The circles I made using this card was a large circle punch. I really wanted the stars to show on this one but maybe next one I will do it right.
Hello ladies, I've been following along with the threads but saying little (nothing to contribute I gues, lol). I haven't heard anything yet from my winning sponsor so maybe I'll hear something this week. Looking forward to seeing what everyone creates.
I've been that busy with stuff around here I haven't been watching my emails so closely, so when I read thru this thread I thought I should go and have a look just in case. If the source name didn't look familiar or the subject title didn't mention HYCCT I may have deleted it. Or it hasn't arrived yet. I'll find me eventually

I got an email today from MFT with a tracking number so I should expect something on Friday, however they refunded me $11.95 because they were out of stock on something that they aren't going to replace...that's ok, I'm sure I could find something else.

Here's my card using one of the BIG butterflies I got from Chic & Savvy, I made it for the sketch challenge.
Connie, that is just LOVELY. That's not a word I use very often, but it fits. Beautiful creation, I love how you used the different papers for your layers. Isn't that stack fantastic?

OK, Here's a retake on my sketch challenge card using my new butterfly. My DH taught me not to use the flash.
It's a beautiful card either way! That butterfly is gorgeous and goes very well with the dp you chose.
My DD says it is "always" better to use flash, but I have mixed results. Sometimes flash is better, sometimes not. I often take 3 or 4 photos with different settings, then decide which I like best.

I'm starting to think that, they both work but I think for cream cards with the glitter reflects it with the flash.

depends on how much light is in the room. I don't have a light box but I usually put white cardboard behind and below the card. the white also helps to see how the color is going. some colors just never look right.
I heard from Your Next Stamp yesterday, so hopefully my package will be in the mail soon... packages have been taking about a month to get here, which is pretty good!
Yes, I got the YNS e-mail today too - packages from the U.S. take between 4-10 days to get here to Northern Ireland. A month seems a long time! :(

I get my package tomorrow according to the tracking number from the USPS. They are supposed to send me $11.95 to Pay Pal because one of my items were no longer available.
Wow...Dina...I'd be worse than a kid at Christmas time if I knew something was coming and it took a month to get to me....I hope it's extra fast this time....

Dini, on my iPod I have a Broadway Fav File which I listen to a lot. Now whenever I'm listening to it, I can't stop picturing cards for the lyrics and seeing your thumbnail. I guess that's a new twist on earworms.
