Anyone else notice the generous sneak peek in SU's new wood block cases video (which are pretty awesome all on their own)? Some super cute sets!
I love the way SU is keeping my attention this year with all the new announcements, products, peeks, and changes! Way better marketing strategy in my opinion... What do you think?
I agree! I thought the sneak peek set in the beginning of the video was a nice touch. I even laughed when she took a bite of her sandwich stored in the new case.
I looked and looked and paused and paused and then remembered you could go full screen and started over and looked and paused all over again. I love this time of year!

Ha - I was so curious about the wood-mount cases and what else was going to go in the next box that I didn't even notice the new stamp sets at first. It was only after someone pointed it out that I went back to catch the previews.
So excited to get the new catalog soon (not that I've gotten my complete wish list out of the current one yet!)
You can start to see samples on April 25th when people like me (hehe) will next day air their orders...now if I could only have that day off this year!

A couple new items in the video, and if you look at the spines of the stamp cases they line up at the end on the shelf (I can zoom in on my iPad), you can see some new sets!
This sneak peek is for everyone yaayaayayayay Stampin Up!

How much is next day air?
$35 on top of the regular shipping costs. I save up to be able to do it. To me it's worth every penny. I waited almost two weeks for my very first pre-order....but shipping times were way longer back then....
I wish the quarterly amount wasn't so much I'd love to be a hobby demo!!! All this insider stuff you get to see and know about
Do you have a friend or two who might order from you to help meet the quota? It's 300 per quarter, which is a hundred a month. You know, I originally signed up just to get the products at a discount never thinking I'd last very long. But gosh, the products sell themselves and I found it easier than I thought!
I guess it might depend on how much I want to get from what's available in the preorder.
 I just had a brain quake! My Upline and I could combine our orders and split the shipping costs!
Jana, big hug!!
Oh wait... do they limit you to only one of some things?[ /QUOTE]
Usually stamp sets are one and accessories/paper and all the like are 3.
oh well, I will just spend the extra $$ for the fun of getting it right away. I'll justify it by telling myself I need to get things made and up on my blog to sell! lol That's a good reason right?

Isn't it $240.00 per quarter because of the 20% discount?

Yes, before tax and shipping. If you are in the US and in a state that charges taxes it still ends up being right around $300. I am in MN and pay 7.625% tax and the the shipping/handling is taxed so even if I just had $300 in orders, after the discount it would be $240 and then it would be $30 shipping because that is based on the full cost of the merchandise and then tax is based on the discounted merchandise total plus the shipping/handling so in this example, tax would be 20.59 making the final total 290.59.
I recently placed an order that was $151.46 in merchandise and after my discount and tax and shipping I paid $148.53.

New wood block cases - any idea of the exact dimensions? They look like a thick DVD box sets (similar to triple DVD sets) for the big ones and half that size for the smaller ones. I have some older SU woodblock sets that came in really long boxes that are a pain to store with the rest of my woodblock sets. Just wondering if they one old set could be stored in one of the new bigger cases?

I'm sure they will fit in thickness, and I would think in most cases, you could get all the stamps from one set into one of the larger boxes. There might possibly be a set or two that you would have to use one large box and one small box if there were lots of stamps to that set. KWIM? I took a DVD case and laid out all of my wood blocks to On Your Birthday set and they would all fit into that size case if it were wider like the new boxes. So if they are the same heighth as the DVD cases, then I would guess it was as I said and most sets will fit into one box.
The dimensions are on the product page under new wood mount cases. I too am curious how the sets that are currently in the longest boxes will fit in there. Wondering if they will require one full and one half box.

I watched the video again and it says it will fit perfectly next to the other cases on your shelf, so to me, that means they would be the same heighth...
Does anyone know yet if there will be a hexagon punch to go with the Honeycomb embossing folder? I made a card yesterday using that folder, but cutting out individual hexagons to use with it is very time consuming. I need a punch, but if SU doesn't offer one, I will need to look somewhere else...

We don't know yet. We will know on the 24th though
scmagnolia, when you do 2nd day air, they also guarantee to ship your order the same day AND our copy of the new catalog is included. Being a demonstrator has definite benefits!
