Hi and welcome from New Zealand! I visited Toronto many years ago - it is a lovely city. If you have any questions about the forum or card making, do ask.

Hello and welcome! It's a few years since I visited Toronto but it's a lovely city. DH's oldest son has recently moved to the Burlington area so we may be over to visit later this year!

Almost certainly not - some people choose not to reveal their location at all so it would be impossible to have a search on a field that's not compulsory, is my guess. Lots of sellers will say if they're based somewhere other than the US and many will ship outside the US, too (if the description doesn't say and there's something you're interested in, just send a pm to ask if shipping to your location is possible and what the cost is likely to be - I've done this several times for a trans-Atlantic purchase and most people are more than willing to do it if you're paying the shipping).
Have fun finding your way around the site and do just ask if there's anything you need to know, somebody will be able to help
Welcome!
I.m from down the road in St. Catharines. Only problem here is I spend more time on here than actually making cards!
I hear you! For me, it's Pinterest, that I spend waaay too much time on ;) - But I think through the random browsing, I pick up neat techniques and inspiration, that I can use when I (eventually) sit to make cards!

Greetings and welcome. I am 2 hours north of Toronto. There is a thread going on right now about being frugal. Here is a link Ways to make do instead of buy new by Barbara Jay at Splitcoaststampers Hope it works. It is full of all kinds of neat ideas on substitution and saving $$$$$.

Thanks SO much for this! I'm reading every post in it
I've been a frequent visitor on this forum ever since I started making cards and I love the ideas and tutorials shared here!
I'm an absolute beginner in terms of my possession (aka tools) - also with techniques.
Anyone from Toronto here?
Hi there. My name is Lauren. I live in Tottenham ON. (Just north of Toronto). I started making cards with the Cricut about 2 years ago, but about a year and a half ago I met a Stampin Up demonstrator, then someone else introduced me to Copic markers and well the rest they say is history. It has take some time to build up "my precious stuff" but its been great. I love making cards and scrapbook pages. what do you use? What do you do?

Hi Lauren! Nice to meet you. Here's my "story" :$
My first card, last year, was using paper from a scrapbook I had, (that I never used) and everything else was just dollar store material [You can see it here: Card inspiration ? Sending Wishes | Hafsa Creates ]
Since then, I've bought from random stamps and ink from different places. So far, I haven't bought a circuit or big shot, but they look quite impressive (I just need to start saving for them..lol)
Hi - I'm from Toronto! In fact, I wish I could get together with other stampers to make cards {christmas and other styles}.....so if you ever feel like crafting, give me a holler!
Besides, I think its a good way to share some stuff - if we can bring an item each that the others can try out, its a cool way to save money!

Awesome idea! Wondering if there are any meet ups happening already in Toronto?
Hi, I'm a couple of hours north of you. Have not been to the Big City in about 35 years. I too am new here but not new to paper crafting. Have been lazy lately and hope joining up here will inspire me to do more. Just need to learn my way around. Linda
