I have some of this embossing powder. Not sure how old it is. I googled to get information and to see some pictures but can't find even one image.
Does anyone have any information about it or any tutorials or anything???
I found a listing on eBay and the description only consisted of the instructions that are printed on the lid of the EP container.
Since the lid in the eBay photo said you will get a 'textured' result, I am thinking this must be a larger granule embossing powder that is not used for detail embossing. Usually with the larger granule embossing powders, if you emboss one layer, you get a surface with a texture like an orange peel. If you want a thick but smooth surface, you just add additional layers and emboss each layer until the surface is smooth.
I'm guessing that the SU Enamelware powder is along the lines of Opals brand or Stewart Superior's Cloisonn� brand embossing powders if you wanted to see some tutorials on using larger granule EPs:

The Enamelware Blue EP is in the 2000-2001 Catalog. I didn't check later catties to see how long it hung on, though. The watering can from the DD Wildflowers stamp set in that catalog was embossed with that EP.
Since enamelware is a metal coated with blue enamel with white flecks, the embossing powder would have been made for solid images, not outline images. If I were you I would stamp some solid image on a piece of scrap paper and emboss it as you would any embossing powder to see how it responds. The white flecks would have to be a bit larger than the blue in order to get the desired effect (and that would make the "texture"), so I would just go for it!
I have *heard* that embossing powders can go bad after a number of years. Personally I don't understand how, unless they absorb moisture. I have 20 year old embossing powder that works just fine. But I live in a dry climate.
HEY! I"m so proud. I figured it out how to post a photo. I don't have a watering can stamp so I used a die cut. The powder embossed without problem even though it's as old as the hills! Thanks for all of the information about it.
Welll, I just might have to go looking for someone who's got some of that powder! Way cute! Or maybe we could talk so much about it that someone decides to bring it back!
I emboss everything and have lots of old powders that are still good. Stampin' Up! used to have quite a few special-effects powders like enamel ware and verdi-gris and glittery. I miss those types of powders and I hope they make a comeback, as all things seem to in the crafting world.

Yup, I remember the Verdigris and the one with the sparkle in it (can't remember the name), but I don't remember that enamel ware and it really looks cool! Now I want some : ( I do remember that old stamp set that fionna linked above - it made some awesome cards.
