Last time this happened I CRIED and cried but I'm excited this time around! Happy to see some great colors back! And for once it's good I'm a hoarder...I think I have most of these squirreled away;-) I have to say I will miss baja a bit and more mustard. That one has me scratching my head just a bit because it's still a pretty hot color in the stores. But I'll get over it I suppose!

Thank you - I have some stocking up to do. But I am glad that Wisteria wonder, Pear Pizazz, Bermuda Bay and blushing bride are returning. Pity Concord Crush is not also returning.

Yes I know - it's mainly the 3 blues I am going to miss - especially Baja and Bashful. I don't remember soft sky and I don't really like Pool Party.

Pool party and soft sky are kind of similar but people have asked for soft sky forever! I think it's very pretty. It is a soft light blue. Hope you like it!!!!!

Agree with Minders that you better do it fast. This weekend will be a great time to stock up since SU is offering free shipping and no minimum order amount, so you can get by just ordering a few packages

I doubt it. That's not how the in colors work. They are trendy colors and burgandy isn't a very trendy color right now.

I'm thinking that maybe they're considering Cherry Cobbler a deep enough red to stand in for burgundy...?

I have a little tear rolling down my cheek for pretty in pink. *sniff* *sniff*
I mean I use all the colors that are retiring (except bravo burgundy) but can live with their replacements. I may have half a tear flowing for more mustard....but I'm trying to get a handle on the fact that crushed curry will replace it nicely...even though....isn't it a bit brighter than mm?
Oh pretty in pink! I WILL stock up on you this weekend!!!! :( *sob* *sob*

Woohoo! I'm liking it! I'll be "fixing" my drawers that keep my paper and inks to match the new layout...probably tonight?!
I do love my Baja Breeze, though.

So I have been afraid to use my Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride . I love those colors . But I broke down and used them to make Tri Fold Shutter Easter cards for family. Then stressed out and started searching ebay to find more of those colors. I am so happy that they are returning. Sad to loose Baja Breeze :( .
I am happy that with the exception of the new color I have all the returning colors. I will have to add another pack or too of Baja just so the three packs I already have do not get lonely. I hoard pretty colors. ;)

It's funny, since the last color renovation two years ago, (or is it three?) I've had this big stack of retired colors I'm trying to use up. I've whittled it down quite abit, and just the other day I was patting myself on the back because I'd used up my last sheet of Soft Sky! And now it's back!
To be honest, I'm not too upset to see any of these go, I think they're replacing them with colors that are better. Except for the Mustard/Curry thing. While I'm not much of a golden yellow fan, I can handle Mustard. But Curry was one of my least liked colors that SU has ever come up with. And I will miss Bashful Blue. But I'm well stocked on the retired colors I like, and the only incoming colors I don't have are Soft Sky and Blushing Bride. Oh, and Crushed Curry, but I don't know if I'll be rushing out to get that one. So it looks like I'm set for this change.
The only thing that bothers me is that I've now got a HUGE stack of retired colors again!

Yes these will be the colors for the new catty. However the discontinued
colors are only available while supplies last.So if there is a color you love that is retiring get it now. They may run out before the current catalog ends. There will be a set of In Colors that are new also. Just do not know those yet.

I don't think that's strange; I don't know very many places that give notice of sales before they start.

I"m going to miss More Mustard. It's the colour of the leaves in autumn here. I guess the leaves are going to be Crushed Curry now.
But I'm happy to get Bermuda Bay back! I still have the inkpad for that! (although I'll *need* to get the new foam one!) ;)

I'm surprised no one has said anything about Certainly Celery. That's the one I am going to miss. I use it all the time. Is Pear Pizzazz a close match for it?

Yes and IMO pear is way better than celery! It's less washed out and tired looking! I was hoping for this one!
I have everything but the soft sky ink, poo! I never got into the in colors back then. I'm getting my hands on it as soon as I can :-)

I'm pretty excited about the changes and glad colors like Island Indigo are sticking around and love the colors they are bringing back! I'll admit I haven't used a lot of the colors they are retiring for a while except for River Rock. I got into a love affair with that color in the last 6 months and will be totally sad to see it go.
Now taking bets - which color will have the paper and ink refill sell out first? Hmm... I'll go with Baja Breeze!

Can't believe they are switching out More Mustard for Crushed Curry.
Jusy saying. I really detested that colour as much as Yo Yo Yellow.
Wish Barely Banana was making a comeback though.
