Default Spellbinder Die Storage - My latest solution

Thought I'd share this here. I outgrew my latest storage method and thus far this improvised binder system works quite well.

I'm too lazy to re-type everything here, so check out my blog for more info and pix: Paper Chrome: Spellbinder Organization - CD Binder

Well done, Monika! I use those vent covers, too, but cut them down to fit in the 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" page protectors and put them all in that size binder. Even the large sets that I have will fit in those, and I can put two sets of smaller dies on one sheet so I'm not wasting space. I may play with your idea for some of my smaller dies that won't stick to a magnet sheet - sew some of the CD pockets down the middle or something... Thanks for sharing!

This is how I've been storing mine. It's worked well for me. I like the fact that they are contained in the zippered case. I've wondered about using Trapper Keepers(if they still make them) or some kind of full size zippered 3-ring binder with page protectors and magnet sheets cut to size, if I should ever outgrow my cd binder. I would think that a zippered binder/page protector/laminated sheet system would work well for cling mount stamps too, though I haven't tried that yet.

I've thought of the larger page protectors and my concern is that the weight of the magnetic sheet and metal dies would be too much for a standard page protector. I'm thinking of issues such as sagging and tearing the binder holes.

I just recently reorganized mine into page protectors and vent covers cut in half. Mine are just in a binder. So much easier to find things! Enjoy your new system!

I've just switched to the vinyl CD envelopes. I cut my vent covers to fit inside and put my dies on those. Used my label maker to label with the name and item number. I've got them in a storage basket that is sized for CDs. I did have mine in an 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 binder but I think I'm going to like this system better. I have a few sets that were too big for the envelopes so I need to figure out something for them -- I'm thinking maybe trim the binding side off of the smaller page protectors and file them in the back of the basket.

Congrats...I have being doing this for years. I have one 72-cd for Nestabilities and another for Pendants etc. They are full and a bit heavy to carry around but, I love having everything nice and tidy and compact.
