Question Delicata Golden Glitz Stamp Pad

Anyone who has one of these:

Just another gold stamp pad to come down the pike? Or something special? I think I read that it was best used without embossing powder, but is the effect noteworthy? What about the pricey Stazon gold? I already have Colorbox, Brilliance, and, of course, gold embossing powder; so is there some different look out there calling to me?

I can't speak to the other pads/products out there, but I do have this Delicata gold pad and it's GORGEOUS.

I just bought it but haven't used it yet. But Julie Ebersole swears by it and has used it beautifully. Kristina Werner just used it on her blog. So that is pretty good recommendations in my book. Can't wait to use it soon! Sorry I don't know how to post links.

This ink sounded so wonderful, I went looking for it. And found it on Amazon, and discovered I had some cashback bonus money on my Discover card.

Free, right? Can't wait to get it. I love the look of gold but don't seem to have the patience to use embossing powder and a heat gun.

It's the best gold ink pad I've ever bought, bar none ! Excellent gold color, fast-drying, excellent detail - I think you all will be very pleased with it !

LOVE it! Found it at Joann's with a coupon. For a pigment ink it dries very quickly usually. I did have a smooth heavy maroon cardstock that I had to heat set. I just bought the refill online at Ellen Hutson. This is a must buy! Happy to enable!

Yes indeed. If it were not for all the helpful folks on here, we would all have only one pack of cardstock, one ink pad, and one stamp! Right?

So is it way more vibrant than Brilliance's Galaxy Gold? Just wondering if Delicata is worth a buy since I already have that one.

Delicata is slightly darker than Brilliance Galaxy Gold. I just stamped both on a scrap from work (white 65 lb. index maybe), waited a minute, pulled hard across both images with my finger and both inks smeared slightly. Waited four minutes and pulled again and both inks smeared slightly. While Delicata is my favorite, if you have and like Brilliance then you probably don't need both unless you want a darker gold that may show up better.

The Delicata is a pigment ink like the Brilliance, but the addition of mica makes it the most brilliant gold ink I've ever found. It is most effective on dark colored card stock. I stick to Versamark or Versafine for embossing as it is more cost effective. The Delicata also makes a lovely edging ink for sponging. I used it on a card this past Tuesday, although it's kind of hard to see the shine in the photo.
