Default trying to organize my card How do you

I make all sizes of cards. I would like to store them all in one box and be able to use dividers. And, where did you buy your container for the cards?

I can't find a box the size to hold the large cards. Right now they are laying in a pile. I also have the 6 x 6 size that if I found something to hold the large ones these would fit also.

How do you store yours?

Thanks for the input.

What's your largest size? I keep mine in a regular shoebox which is wide enough for any that I make. I can't put the lid on, but I store them in the clear plastic envelopes so dust isn't an issue.

I use a box that I bought at IKEA. It is from the Garnittyr line and has a width of 11", depth of 16 1/2" and height of 6 1/4". I made dividers from a thick cardstock. I put the measurements of the cards and envelopes in each section on little avery file tabs, that I placed on my dividers. The tabs are made so you can write on the plastic with any ink pen. Even my largest cards and envelopes fit with ease. It holds a ton of cards and envelopes! It has a cover that I don't usually use, because I have the box stored in the bottom drawer of a large IKEA dresser, so I know dust isn't an issue. When I purchased my boxes they came in a black print which I like much better than the tan print they have now. HTH

I have a couple of Sterilite containers from either Target or Walmart that can handle a full half sheet card, as well as have theme dividers organizing them.

Vintage suitcases... the hard kind... but, the cards are inside either clear bags or clear boxes also. and the thing with these is... sometimes you have to let them "air out" for a while before you can use them for storage. but, I like them for other things besides cards and they stack nice and look cool in the space.

hth,

Someone mentioned they bought a card box at Michaels that fit all the sizes and had a divider. I had to go into town today so went to Michaels and bought it. It was even on sale for $5.99. I was smiling when the lady said it was on sale too.

I have a TON of these and fill 'em up fast. They look nice, you can organize by holiday or occasion and voila.

Try the Iris Card Keeper. It comes with dividers. Office Max or Amazon.

I just covered a shoe box with patterned paper and made my own dividers from sides of cereal boxes (also covered with pretty papers)

For my smaller cards I used a photo box, very pretty and made my own dividers but sure do like this new plastic one.

The one I bought yesterday at Michaels is exactly like the Iris card keeper nice plastic dividers in it.

I found the neatest clear card keeper box at Michaels. It was I want to say about $6.00. Fits all sizes and has dividers in the box.

Thank you for posting how you store your cards. Lots of great ideas here.
