Hello everyone!! I hope you had a great St. Patrick's Day...I'm not Irish but I always wear green on March 17th...I think that makes me an honorary Irishwoman one day a year!!
Are you ready for a fun challenge this week?? I have chosen to....Transform a Map...into something wonderful!!!! Maps are so trendy now...they have been used to make all kinds of things, for example:
1. You can make flowers from a map.
2. Create a background or use it on a layer or two.
3. Paper piece a dress for a girl image
4. Use it for die cut or punched trim
5. Use for an *I miss you across the miles* card or a *Keep in touch* card
What if you don't have a map....you can use the map in a telephone book or print one off the net.
See...you have no excuse not to play!!!
Be sure to post a link to your card here in this thread because we are having gallery problems and I want to find your card!!!
Note: I edited my card and added one more word to the keywords line. It showed back up in the TLC421 gallery... so If your card is missing, give that a try!!!
Joan, what a fun challenge today! Here's my card . Not sure if I want to make it a retirement or birthday card.

Imagine my surprise when I woke up a few minutes ago to find that the TLC421 gallery had disappeared!!! I have PMed Lydia in hopes that she can create a little magic and find the gallery!!! In the mean time....keep looking for those maps, girls!!!
ladies....be sure to post a link to your card here in this thread so we can find your card....the gallery link may be broken for quit a while!! I'm sorry about this....the powers that be are working on the problem.
A belated entry! It took me a while to come up with something for this challenge but was inspired when I had to make a birthday card for a young friend this week:
