Good afternoon all! Ive been lurking here for just about a year. About time I say hi I have enjoyed and learned so much from my lurking thus far. Ive never really participated in any discussion boards so this is new.
My name is Christine. I live in Wichita, KS with my husband of almost four years, Wayne. We dont have kids yet, but our two dogs and three cats (Skipper weenie dog, Trouble cat, Cracker cat, Lucky cat, Harlow yellow Lab) are definitely very loved and spoiled! Most of my immediate/in-law family lives in the Wichita/Derby area so we see our families quite often. The only exception is my little brother who met a girl from Australiafell in lovemoved to Australia to live with her. They come back to Kansas to visit about once a year. Were so looking forward to their visit in just a few months! My husbands parents actually live down the street from us. Some may think were crazy to live so close, but my in-laws are awesome. I love having them close by
I am currently in the last eight weeks of a Masters of Liberal Arts program. I am excited to reach the end so I can have more free time for crafting I have been in banking for the past 13 years. I also own a rental property management company with Wayne, so that keeps us busy at times.
The majority of my crafty stuff is Stampin Up, but I am always interested in learning about something new! In addition to my Stampin Up toys I have a Cricut Mini and Zing. Neither has really seen much attention aside from being taken out of the box thanks to two years of school. I cant wait to put them to work on some very overdue scrapbooking in a few months. Until then card making helps feed my crafty addiction.
Hi Christine and welcome from New Zealand! That is great you are doing a Masters in Liberal Arts, congrats on your near-completion. Have fun participating in everything here - the site really is addictive!

Welcome, Christine! It's always fun to "meet" someone on here from my neck of the woods. There are some really great people here on SCS, so jump on in and have fun!
Hi Christine! I'm a Wichitan and Shocker, too! Are you getting your MA at WSU or Friends? We moved to Missouri several years ago, but I went to high school and college in Wichita, so it's a place dear to my heart.
I'd like to welcome you out of stealth-mode. We're glad to see you here at Splitcoast!

Let me know when you decide to have the Kansas meet up! I'd love to come to that if I can.
Hi Christine,
Another Kansas stamper here--home is the far west of Kansas but for most of March and part of April I will be in Wichita helping with the new baby--a first--at my son and daughter in law. I provide day care 3 days each week for them as she is finishing up nursing school and he just changed jobs in January and has no leave time built up...I think I have the best deal as I don't have to study or work and am allowed to play with a cute baby all day long.
