The details:
We will create as many cards are there are people in attendance. Everyone will be responsible for bringing a "shoebox" kit for a card...
To make your Shoebox:
1st Think of a great layout design for a full sized card
2nd Gather all of the supplies, for 14 cards... everyone in attendance will get to create one that day , and we will use the others for door prizes
3rd Create your card, and two others, so you will have an example of what everyone else will make make, feel free to write directions or draw the steps out in case it is tricky for some people... You should have three completed examples of your card
4th Cut out everything each person will need.. I find it great to cut each piece and put everything needed to make one card in an envelope so that it can be quick to handout to each creator...
4 and 1/2 we will only have from 9-11:30 to create, lunch from 11:30- 12:00 so with the creation for 12 cards please make sure your card can be created in about 10 minutes, with everything cut out and ready to go, it goes fast
5th pack all punches, stamps, ink, bling, ribbon, fibers, and some extra in the event someone messes up, that will be needed for making your card..
I will create everyone a goodie bag to start, there will be a handcrafted name tag to wear, and surprises inside your bag with room left to put all of the cards you will make
Make sure to bring your basic stamping kit, bone folder, scissors, and lots of adhesive
Space is limited to the first 12 people to send me their registration form with payment in full...
Our location of Aurora Brew Works has nice big tables, with comfortable chairs, bathroom, fridge and, microwave. There is a large parking lot in the back, and a little walkway in between the buildings to enter in the front, there is also lots of street parking, and large parking lot across the street...
Swap Stuff.... Do you have some items that you do not use much any more, well then bring them along, we will have time during lunch to lay out things to swap to others... ones woman's junk is another woman's treasures... think punches, stamps, paper, ribbons, anything crating related
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have...
Once your payment is received there will not be any refunds, you can trade your spot to someone if need be...

Do you know where Brew Works is?
subbing to see if the CNY group decides this will be our Spring Fest substitute. Are you sure you only want to have 12 people??
I would love to have more people... However I am worried about space and time... more people means more cards, which would take more time, and I was hoping to keep this to a morning only event... and in regards to space I want to make sure everyone has enough room to sit and stamp....
What do you mean about the CNY group making this their Spring Fest Sub?

Not positive where the Brew Works is but I'm sure I can find it. I used to work in East Aurora so I know a little bit about the area.

We used to go to Buffalo every April for WNY Spring Fest hosted by Tracey. She had a huge event with 85+ stampers at a church in Amherst. There are 12+ of us from CNY and Poughkeepsie, even Boston, that made a three day weekend and would drive to The Crafting Cottage in Corning, AJ Merchantile in Dansville, a scrapbook store on Victor, and then go to Buffalo Stamps & Stuff on Friday. We stayed at a hotel jammie stamping until all hours, go to Spring Fest Saturday and back to Buffalo Stamps for more shopping. Followed by dinner out and then more Jammie stamping at the hotel. Jammie stamping is stamping and sharing more shoebox projects or making up cards using our new purchases...wearing jammies acceptable. Sunday we headed home with a stop at Waterloo Outlet Stores. Sadly last year was the last one and we heard Tracey moved to Rochester. We are having withdrawal symptoms and need our shop across the state/Buffalo Stamp fix!

Well that sounds like amazing fun... and all of those stops could be on your way, and the Roycroft hotel is in East Aurora, and there is a Hampton Inn too..
We could make room, for such a group of wonderful full ladies
