Wow......Congratulations...8 years and I remember when this wonderful challenge 1st started :-) Thanks Linda for a wonderfuly creative challenge celebrating 8 years.
Purple is scary!! I ended up trawling through my papers till I found something that was predominantly purple, and I added lace, linen and a tiny hint of bronze.
Going by the price friends paid for Tanzanite jewellery in Tanzania itself - it's a generous 8h anniversary gift, LOL. Thank you for such a fun challenge today, Linda.

Happy 8 years. Here is my card. It was hard to photograph because of all the snow we have been getting this week. My card is mostly in the purple-lavendar-lilac family with a touch of turquoise, brown and white thrown in.

Purple is one of my favorite colors in card making! This was a fun challenge. I used liquid pearls for the gemstones (hope that's close enough!). Here's my card:
A perfect challenge to get a birthday card made ahead of time for a friend who loves purple. I don't have any lilac stamps but I used purple inks, purple gemstones, and grosgrain ribbon which is pretty close to linen! Here's my card:
