The name of today's challenge is my (semi-) lame attempt at being clever ... trying to evoke the vision of having to fill one's car with gas ... which leads us to think of gas stations ... which, in turn, could lead us to think of CHEVRON stations, right?? (Work with me here!!)
Soooo ... since CHEVRONS are such a HOT trend right now, how's-about adding some in SOME form to your creation for the day??? Embossing folders, patterned papers, stamped images, ribbon ... I've seen chevrons on pretty much EVERYthing, so show me what ya got!!
(This was also my sample for Mindy's Fab Friday Challenge today, which is where I got the sketch idea!)

Hi Wendy! I've gotta tell you that that your challenge title and how you got around to the "chevron" challenge made me laugh! The first thing I thought of when I read the title was a gas station. Because we don't have Chevrons around here, Road Ranger and Shell crossed my mind. The second thought I had was that it might be to make a card with something on it that uses/emits gas. That thought conjured up the image of an "old guy" stamp I have. Heehee!
Timely challenge for me, Wendy. Just received this new PTI set which I was anxious to use. I will need this thank you after we visit friends in FL...and these are the main colors of their winter home there. Thanks!

I remember Chevron gas stations, and was chuckling to myself as well as I followed the trail to the use of chevrons via gas. Several visuals were created in my head at the thought of your old guy stamp.
