Default Sizzix Die questions

Hi there -- has anyone worked out a way to stop the eyes, nose etc from cutting out of the Owl #2 and Puppy dies ???? Also can this die go through the cuttlebug ??? Thanks in advance. Kim

Hi!
I use a Big Shot with them and haven't had any problems.

I don't have any problems with mine, either.

Jeanne, I think she's asking if there is a way to cut the owl body without cutting the eyeholes out of the middle of the head? I had sub'd the thread earlier because I had thought that would be a cool if there were actually a way to make that work.

Lori -- yes that is correct. I have read that some people have the eyes cut out completely where others only have a score line. I have seen heaps made using DS papers and I was wondering what they did on the inside so that there wasn't big holes.
I have seen one lady who cut her eyes out and removed the cutters.
Thanks for your help anyway.

I always cut a folded card template in the shape if the body to go on the inside so the holes don't show on the inside of the card. I'd love it if my eyes weren't always poked out!

I don't know which the puppy one is, but I bet the owl is this one - here's one of Jeanne's cards using it: HYCCT1211 Halloween Owl by Jeanne S - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

The eyes shouldn't be cutting. They should just kinda emboss in those areas so you have placement. You could try a crease pad instead of the Big Shot clear plate.
