Silly DSP question

What do you search when trying to determine the colors from a DSP that is retired? My word choice did not work.

Is it SU paper? If so, there should be a demo who can help you. Or, put the name of the DSP out here and ask the specific question such as: "is the red in XYZ paper from SU Riding Hood Red or Real Red"? Somebody out here will KNOW...or be able to find out pretty quick.

There is also this feature on the Bazzill web site that lets you type in a brand name DSP from other companies like, My Minds Eye and the pattern name and it will tell you what Bazzill solid card stock would go with it. I know that's not EXACTLY what you are trying to find out but thought it might be helpful to know down the road.

I have learned my lesson with the DSP. I like to keep the group together and on a piece of sticky paper. I write the name of the paper group, year in the catalogue, and I also write the colors in the paper. It has helped me a lot. I can also see the colors and know if I am working with say Pretty in Pink I can see the DSP that have that color. I speant all evening going through old catalogies working on this but it paid off for me. good luck

I always write what colors go with the SU papers on the cardboard insert that comes with it. Simple and so useful.

New SU DSPs now come with colors pre-printed on the back. Woo-hoo!!!

I tend to search for the brand that I want to match. It seems each company has their own color combinations. The colors vary from company to company but if that match is important then try the company you started with.
