Default Does anyone recognise this diecut ?

Hi,

I need some help trying to identify this die ...Does anyone know the brand of this die and where you it can be purchased.

All I know these samples were cut with a thin metal die and not an electronic machine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance

That is a really nice die cut. I thought it might be Tim Holtz, but I don't recall him showing this off on his blog. If you do find out who makes this, please let me know.

Wow - that's pretty. I thought maybe Memory Box but it's not one of theirs.

That is a pretty diecut.
I just checked CherryLynn and didn't see it as one of their's either.
If you do find it please post who's it is. I would love to have that.

I searched the Sizzix website, and it's not there either. So far, we know it is NOT:

Sizzix/Tim Holtz
Cheery Lynn Designs
Memory Box

Now I really want to find out who makes this cuz now I gotta have it!! LOL

wooohoooo ......Thank you.... skf

I did search the usual die cutting companies. My first thought was it may have been a Cheery Lynn as the holly scroll the have is simular... but of course I couldn't find it there .

Thanks to everyone who replied also

no problem ;)

Actually, I came across this brand last week and am still considering whether to get some to try or not.

I wanted a "Merry Christmas" text die. Cheery Lynn does have one (i think it is a set of 2 sizes). Was considering between this Crafty Ann and Cheery Lynn. I have used Cheery Lynn dies but I have not tried this brand..

From the illustrations on web site, it seemed that the Crafty Ann dies might be like Bosskut dies, it is "foamed". While I use both types, I tend to prefer non foamed type of dies like Cheery Lynn and Memory box. Hmm.. I should just ask them instead of trying to be smart and guessing :p

If you watch the video on that page you can see - no foam.

It's a lovely die cut but having watched the video I think I'd skip it considering how long it takes to get the darn thing out without damaging it!

I watched also a video on one of the border dies. That thing went on and on and on for minutes with her poking out holes! Scared me of it. If someone orders the Merry Christmas die, give us a comparison with other dies for hole poking!

I watched the video for the 'Merry Christmas' die. I agree about how long it seems to take to get the cut image out of the die. You would have to start now in order to have half a dozen die cuts for Christmas cards for 2013 done in time to mail your cards this year.

There must be something that would speed the process. You would have to be a ultra patient person to attempt to cut and use more than one at a time. Would putting wax paper between the die and c/s help or would that affect the ability of the die to cut through the c/s? Wonder if you could use some of the thin foam that come with some dies? (if you could purchase some somewhere) Too bad because I love the design and font of this die.
