Default exact size sizzix flip card

Help! I ordered a Sizzix flip card die, which hasn't come in yet and I need to order envelopes. I find the 5 1/2" squares easily online. But the sizzix sites say the card is approximately 5" square. I am thinking a 5 1/4" square would look nicer but the only place I found them required a 100 ct box (for the best price). I am a bit worried that if the card is slightly off my cards won't fit. But he 5 1/2" square seems like there would be too much room to look nice. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. TIA Jill (I don't have time to wait until the die gets here and then wait again for the envelopes. I need to order quickly for my project.)

They are 5" square. I usually use 5 1/2" envelopes -just because they are easier to find.

Since the flip card is dimensional, and embellishments add even more thickness, a 5.5" envelope works great. It's what I use for these dies. If I could find 5.25" envelopes in bulk at the same price, I'd use them, but I can't. I don't mind the bit of roominess in the slightly larger ones.

I use the 5.5" square envies. I always add something bulky to my cards and this size works perfect.

Thanks girls. I just received my dies today but haven't had a chance to try them out. They came in wayyyyy before I had expected them to! Now the envelope decision. I do add layers so maybe the 5.5 would be best, but the 5.25 just seems like it would look better. Maybe I will make one of each and see what I think before buying a truckload of them. Thanks again~Jill
