Well, not really sadly, Mary, because I wanted to know. So thanks!

I am thinking that for what I want to do, Distress plus watercolor paper may be the best thing for me. They seem more blendy and forgiving, if you use the right paper. My biggest problem has been finding a smooth hot press paper to use. I have WC paper, but I find it hard to get a good stamp on the rough surface.

I've done all right with Prismas and mineral oil. (Not that I do any complex coloring.) You have to use the stumps from Taiwan and I have found that mineral oil works better than baby oil, go figure. But I do want a marker option. It just looks different.
I have come to the conclusion that buying craft supplies and actually using them are two separate hobbies.
