Default Paid to Scrapbook?

I have been approached by someone to scrapbook for them and they'll pay me for the pages. Has anyone done this before? How do you set a price?

Thanks in advance!

Questions that may need to be answered. Who is purchasing the supplies for the book? How many pages are being done. I know someone that did make a book for someone. The person creating the book purchased the supplies with all of this being paid by the person the book was created for plus so much a page for the work.

Go under search and type what to charge to make a scrapbook or something similar. There are several threads on this topic that may help you.

I find the search engine on this website to not be very helpful. I had searched, but because it searches for posts (or threads) with any and all words you put in, it comes up with all sorts of threads that have nothing to do with what I'm looking for.

You might check ebay or etsy or....some places like those to see how much people charge when they have a single or double scrapbook page(s) for sale. I know in years past I have seen pages for sale on such sights. Haven't looked for a long time though. Hope you have a great time making this book, and maybe you'll find a "new" career!

I'm in the same situation. I have made many premade mini albums and sold them. This person, for whom I've made a few, has now requested a larger size, to be determined by me. However, I'm also adding the photos and memorabilia for her. This is the first time I'm doing that. This is not a scrapbook in page protectors, but is requested to be chipboard.

I have a friend who's home flooded (contractor installed a new toilet, didn't fully check it out, and then left the same time the family left for a long weekend.....only to eturn to a downstairs flood and the toilet was just above the craft room and the shelf with all of her many completed albums!) and the insurance company paid someone to salvage the albums and recreate them. I don't remember if I ever learned how much they paid or how it was computed. A suggestion would be to check with your insurance agent and see if they can furnish information. FYI the replacement albums were lovely and her memories are preserved.
