I have been here since March, 2004 - so for me, multiply all of the above!
Happy birthday, SCS!
Congratulations. I too have been a long time member. Since 2004. I miss some times how it was back then.
What was it like back then? I just wondered how is was different. I've never known any different than it is now. I was just curious. I miss having LSS and miss how our local rubber stamping conventions were when they first started. Now they are almost always the same vendors every year, and they are so crowded you can barely get to the products and samples to look.
It was different as it was more Stampin Up products and ideas. Plus SU Demo's didn't have their own section here so we heard more about Conventions coming up, new products coming out. Plus saw more of their projects they made. Now you also see other companies and new things from them. It's always great to see and learn about new things . To be able to share them with others is what this site was and still is now.
Congratulations, Daven, and everyone who makes SCS what it is. I've been here since 2006 and it is my go to for so many things, not the least of which is fabulous friendships.
Happy 10th birthday SCS! I have met so many wonderful and encouraging people from all corners of the globe. When I am feeling down, this is the first place that I head for. Had a rough time this past year caring for a loved one and spent much of my time living at the hospital with them. Being able to access SCS via my laptop at the hospital made a HUGE difference - and it was so wonderful to look at the Gallery when I was up to my ears in medical things and feeling totally exhausted and terrified of the future. Even if I couldn't make very many cards last year, just looking at something creative or reading the latest crafty news was very healing and I can't thank you ALL enough for keeping my spirits up. Thankfully, my loved one is doing OK now and gradually getting stronger and life is slowly returning to some sort of normality. I cherish this place - it is part of me.
Thank you to the founders and to the unselfish contributors. I know my card making stuff would have gone into the closet years ago if it weren't for the inspiration I get from SCS.
i think i am 91299. what number are we up to now? i have incredible gratitude for you kim, and daven, beate, jen b, gina k, julie hrr, traci who i never met, and so many others. thanks for the memory of earlier days, circa 06 for me...
Happy 10th Birthday, SCS! I've been here since May 2003. Can't believe it's been that many years have gone by! I have looked at a LOT of cards.

Boss, if you hover over your user name by your picture, look down to the bottom left of the screen. You'll see a long string of letters and numbers ending with "uxxxx," the xxxx being your member number. Yours is 577.
I don't know how I missed this thread when it came up! Daven, wonderful to see you again, I've missed you.

Betsy, thanks for the tip on how to find the member number! I NEVER would have discovered that on my own. Nice to know I'm #577.
I hovered over several user names and saw some extremely large numbers, which leads to the question: How many SCS members are there?
