I've been admiring and getting inspiration from this site for a while and finally decided to join in the fun. So many talented people here.
I have been papercrafting, mostly card making, for several years now. I love crafting of any kind - stained glass, pottery, needlework, drawing, whatever - but papercrafting is my favorite.
My husband is laughing at me because I've been nervous to make my first post, but I'm jumping in with both feet now!
Hi Pat!! I'm in Austin, so I recognize that "howdy!" Welcome to Splitcoast!! You will love it here and everyone is very friendly!
Please let me know if I can help you with anything on the site, and come play in our daily challenges with us! And if you're in Austin, let me know and we can stamp!
Good for you Pat, for jumping in with both feet!! As Lydia said, the daily challenges are a great place to get started. I love the challenges, and you can learn more and become a better stamper by doing them. I hope you enjoy SCS. It's a big part of my life. :>)
Aw, thanks to everyone for the wonderful welcomes and words of encouragement!!
Im still in the process of resizing and renaming my pictures along with gathering the recipes for my cards. Ive been asking myself Now, what paper was that? Who makes that stamp? a lot lately. I want to do it right. Confession: I intended to start doing this last Saturday but the weather has been so nice I couldnt make myself stay inside. I hope to start uploading soon.
