Type of Swap: Assembly Style
Date : Saturday February 9 Time : 10 AM Place : Renee's house in Woodland (address will be sent after RSVP closes) Fee : There is no fee for this swap. Food : We will have a potluck. See below for sign-ups. I will provide paper products and drinks. RSVP : The cut-off date for sign up will be February 2nd. It will then be posted how many kits are to be made.
Theme : Sympathy cards -- the only kind of cards we hate to make, so how about we build up our stash of these cards we need to have on hand. Let's have some fun and fellowship while we create.
**Each person attending will bring at least one sample of a completed card project and kits of the sample to complete.
**This swap is assembly style, which means that each kit should be in some type of baggie, be pre-cut, pre-stamped, ribbon cut, etc. The baggies should be placed in a shoebox or basket to be brought to the swap.
**Envelopes are not required unless card is non-standard size.
The number of kits to be brought will be determined after the close of the sign-up period. Only one card/project is required; however, it is always nice to have a second project, especially if the group is small. It is entirely up to you.
Tool Kits : Please bring a basic tool kit which will include: scissors, bone folder, adhesive, glue dots, pops ups or foam tape. It may also include any other tool that might be needed or useful. If a particular tool or item is needed for your card/project, please indicate when signing up or sometime before the swap. You may post a comment on the thread informing the people signed up what the need will be.
The swap will begin promptly at 10:00 am and conclude when all the cards have been completed.
Should there be a need to cancel, please post to this thread no later than February 2nd.
You must attend the swap to participate, no absentee swappers please.

Oh, yay! I was just thinking about this! Sign me up. I missed the last one and had withdrawals. I noticed a new rule or two....liking it! I have no bright ideas and have to look thru recipies, so I'll let you know shortly what I'll bring. Looking forward to seeing everyone again!
Hi Renee, good to see you hosting again. I will not be able to come. I may be in Idaho with Gerry if I haven't had my surgery by then. He doesnt want me to stay home this year when he goes on the annual ski trip with his kids. I like your theme. I sure need some of them. Have fun and hope to see you all next time, e around.

Great group, Renee... So sorry I am going to have to miss...I am out of circulation for a while longer...surgery dates are March 11th and April 8th. Will be so glad to get it over with it and I can have my life back again.
Well Betty we'll miss you but I'm glad relief is in sight (no pun intended really)... be sure to let us know how everything goes, we'll be thinking of you!
