Default Itty Bitties Stamp set in 2013 Spring Mini ?

What do you think of the Itty Bitties stamp set on page 25 of the Spring Mini?

There are 56 tiny images for $26 US. It seems like alot of money although I realize they only come wood mounted. I wonder how SU envisions these stamps being used? It would have been interesting to hear how this set was pitched to SU management when they were making the decision to include it in the catalogue.

Is there any discussion on the Demo board about this set?

Does anyone have ideas for using the stamp set? The two cards in the gallery show one of the stamps being used on tiny tags beside a sentiment. I like to put a small stamp on either side of my "created by" stamp on the back of my card so I would use them for that. Any other ideas?

I think they wanted them to be used in the bottle caps in the minis but I think I would use them to help decorate a little corner of the inside of a card and on the envelope to help make it all coordinate.

Tiny stamps can be used as a complimentary design along with other stamps ... depending on corresponding theme, of course.

Occasionally they look delicate & delightful in a string-of-their-own border, too. ;)

They might work well for making your own background paper.

Here's a few sample cards made with them in the gallery: Stampin Up! Gallery: Itty Bitties (2013 Spring) - Page 1 - Cards & More - Splitcoaststampers

They are cute, but definitely a fitting name by calling them itty bitties! I've looked for 10 minutes and still can't find the discussion about them on the demo side, but I know they were tiny when someone posted a picture comparing them to a quarter.

They are SMALL!!!!! These were one of the first stamp sets I wanted out of the Spring mini. I loved the build a brads which these cordinate with. While they are tiny, they are super cute!!! I have them and love them!! I have not mounted mine because they are so small. I am still debating if I will mount them or not mount them. So far I have kept the whole stamp set (comes in two rubber pieces if kept together) as a whole. I have picked out which stamp I want to use, and color it with my SU markers. Works for me!!! I am stamping all the stamps when I stamp BUT since I only colored the actual stamp I want to use, I am only stamping one.

I use my little stamps to make wrappers for Hershey nuggets I use the Avery labels and do 'em up! Personally, I will probably not get this set, but another thing I can think they could be used on is a calendar square. When my children were little, I used to grab the calendar towards the end of the month and flip it over to decorate the important dates in the coming month.
