I know I will be eating more veggies. I know I will be cutting back/out junk and sugar. But low fat, low carb, gluten free, high protein......... what's a person to do???
I agree with Melissa. On the diabetes literature, it says to start off just managing your portions and once that is under control focus on all the right foods. (Not that you have diabetes, but even in a serious situtation like that portion control is the first thing to manage.) I would say if you can drink more water, eat reasonable portions of moderately healthy foods, and cut back on refined sugars then you will be headed in the right direction and the path will probably become clearer.
