I received two sets of ink pad holders from Stanp-n-Storage. I got the 60 pad holder and the 30 pad holder. They are painted barn red and all set up. I LOVE them and am so happy to have them.
I got a new Epson printer. I also got Stampendous Quote the Raven Nevermore rubberstamp. I know that is a quirky stamp for Christmas. I am huge Edgar Allen Poe fan. I got some beautiful frames, stationery, ribbon & beads. I also got a huge bag full of vintage silk fabric, vintage ephemera and vintage papers.
Oh dear. I got some really awful papers and garish stickers from someone well meaning. Actually, in the right hands these could be made into a lovely card, but unfortunately not my hands. LOL. Not wanting to be beaten I've taken a good long hard look at them wondering if I could alter them in some way that I would find more appealing. Sadly I am beaten.
To be fair this person is not a card maker so has no understanding about this craft apart from the connection with paper, lol. So when she saw THIS CARD I made last year, she put two and two together and came up with glitter stickers and paper from the dollar store. I can understand how a non crafter can make that assumption, so I can't take it to heart.
My partner has also been the reciever of 'what will I do with that?' gifts from the same person, but we both agree she does put effort into her gift selections, even if they miss the mark. It kept us amused for another year. I wonder who will get the 'strange' gift next year.
I did get some really cool glitter paper and bling from a nephew. Now that I can use!! I think he has been watching me, lol.
Mom gave way too many 3d glitter shapes and 3d stickers. I have too many stickers now. It's all going back. She didn't even look at the list. She gave hubby exactly what he asked for. I can't use glitter anything for cards for OWH. Mother in law gave me some $$, so I bought cardstock and envies. Hubby gave me a nice pair of boots, so bring on the snow!
A new hot water heater plus installation! Ours went out 2 weeks ago, plus the dryer heating element needed replacing AND one of the cars needed an unexpected repair. All in December too!
But I purchase my own craft supplies anyway, so I plan to get some of SU's new Spring goodies next month.
This year my crafty Santa came via my boss! Some of you remember that I had planned a "make and take" tag making party at work and punched and stamped over 350 tags for everyone to make. Well, I had left a big box of stuff at work so that people could make extra or take stuff home or whatever and the day before I left for vacation the box turned up missing! Crop-a-dile, stamps, ribbon...all of it :( My boss sent me an email and said to go buy the stuff that was missing and she would reimburse me the cost since the box was nowhere to be found! How nice is THAT!?!?!?! So I got a new Crop-a-dile, small circle punch and a few packages of rhinestone brads. I could not ask for everything to be replaced, it just did not seem right so I got the more expensive items and chalked it up to a lesson learned. I am so lucky to have such a thoughful boss! That was my most touching Christmas surprise

My daughter-in-law gave me a $100 gift card to Mike's so I decided to buy a rolling tote. Much to my surprise and joy the rolling tote I had been looking at recently was 50% off today and there was only one left.
The best gift ever... my Hubby is home from a three month deployment in the Bering Sea! I also got some clothes and boots, which I needed badly because I have lost 43 pounds since July. All my old stuff is huge on me!
My biggest present was the iPad my DH bought me. I've wanted one for a year, so I was so happy to have one! Now I can browse SCS to my heart's content and still sit with him in the living room.
A touching present I got this year was from my 12yo DD. Students in her school can earn tickets throughout the year for good behavior or performance, but they're difficult to earn. She spent the vast majority of her hard earned tickets buying gifts for myself, DH and her 3 siblings at the Santa Sale. I'm guessing the Santa Sale contains donated items because my DD saw a wood mounted 1992 SU Bear Hugs stamp set at the sale and snagged it for me. She knew I loved stamping and I was really touched by her thoughtfulness. She's such a great kid!

You're right - best gift ever!!! So happy for you that he's home.

Well I didn't ask for anything stamping related but my secret Santa at work gave me a set of nestibilities (such a nice surprise) and my daughter gave me an Inkadinkadoo roller wheel that has three interchangeable wheels ;D

My dh gave me a K&Company Christmas paper pad, the Paper Studio I'd Rather Be Hunting paper pad, some K&Co. dimensional embellishments, some K&Co. Cub Scouts embellishments, and the New Testament Cricut cartridge. My mil gave me a Pat Catan's gift card, and my dad gave me a Pat Catan's and a Michaels gift card. Lots of fun new things!

Enjoy your gifts everyone.
I got a laugh reading your post. I noticed you are from Queensland. I was there some years ago and absolutely loved it. The Great Barrier Reaf swallowed my ruby/diamond ring. :( It was the best vacation though.

OK, how did you lose all that wight in such a short time?
It's awesome that your husband is home for holidays.

Hooray! Best gift EVER, and kudos to you for losing weight! You must be so proud (and warm and fuzzy and mushy and loving every minute of it...) Happy happy New Year, too!
My husband and I don't really give each other much - we have seven kids and seven grandkids to spend on - but he surprised me with a Kindle Fire. Totally stoked about that!

Can't top that! How wonderful!
My hubby got me a bag of goodies from Archivers: a new Simple Stories SNAP album, Simple Stories Yearography collection, and Simple Stories Summer Fresh collection. Can't wait to play with them!

Sounds like us...got new tires on my van for back Friday
nothing related to crafting since I am a big girl and I get my own crafting supplies. I did get a wok, nook case cover and a gift card! I recently bought a used Nook so I am happy to start reading again
I buy my own scrapbooking and stamping supplies, but I did get a scrapbook-related gift this year. I got a new Canon camera with an Eye-Fi card. Very, very cool!
This is the first year in a long time that I didn't receive anything craft related. I was hinting for a Silhoutte Cameo and got jewerly instead. I'm happy!

I didn't get anything craftwise other than a few lovely stamps from two good friends for Christmas - but instead I've used the SCS member company Shop Hop to treat myself to my first The Cat's Pajamas stamps - and probably the newest Scor-Pal too, since I have the original one and I can see a LOT of advantages to the new one.
Sounds like some people got great gifts - craft-related and not!

I am doing Weight Watchers Online and riding a recumbent bicycle. I am sticking to the plan like glue and eating a lot of their "Smart Ones" frozen meals. t is really working for me and it so easy!
As a big LOTR fan, I received a very cool gift from my BFF and stamping buddy -- A Guide to Tolkien's World/A Bestiary by David Day. It's a marvelous book. She also gave me a Hallmark ornament -- Gandalf.
I bought the Big Shot Drs. Bag with money my son sent me. Also, I am a substitute aide at our local elementary school and one of the teachers gave me a gift certificate for stampin up. Such a delightful surprise. Also have other money gifts that I will spend on "stuff" from the catalog. Waiting for SAB to come.
A stamping friend surprised me with a HL GC so I bought some stamps on sale and an embossing folder.
DH gave me an electric throw (small electric blanket) to use while watching TV, an LED lantern for blackouts that we will experience during the winter, and a NutriBullet Magic Bullet so I can finally drink my veggies in smoothies since I'm not good about actually eating them.
SIL gave us a beautiful wreath she made from seashells she and her hubby collected at the beach near their home in NC.
