I am trying to make some of those hot cocoa kits with the altered Starbucks 4 packs of coffee drinks. I am having a terrible time getting the Starbucks stickers off of the jars - well, I can get the stickers off but it leaves behind a lot of adhesive residue. Anyone know how to get the adhesive off of the jars - permanently?
Thanks to all - I will try the WD-40!
I've heard of Un-Du and GoogGone too, but I've tried to use it without much luck - plus - I understand that it only releases the stickiness temporarily and that once it dries the item is sticky again.
I thought of just covering them up, but the stickers are longer than the paper I want to put on and you can see the writing on them from the inside of the jar since it is clear.
Thanks again for the help!! I love this website but this is the first time I've posted anything. You all are great!
I know this is going to sound crazy, but we use vodka to remove anything sticky. It works like a dream. Put some on a paper towel and rub over the sticker.
