All Those Distress Reinkers

I Was Wondering If Anyone Could Answer This For Me, Instead Of Rubbing Distress Ink PADS And A Mist Of Water On Your Craft Sheet, Could You Just Use The REINKERS Instead, Being That It Is In Liquid Form. I Could Understand Thinning The Reinkers Out Since It Is Such A Consentrated Liquid Color. I Have Alot Of Them, Reinker's That Is, There Has To Be More You Can Do With The Reinkers Than Make Glimmer Mists.
Any Information Would Most Surley Be Appriciated...

It can't hurt to try anything!!! I would try a LITTLE bit of reinker on your kraft sheet and spread it around, see what happens! You are not hurting anything!!!!! I think because it is concentrate, a little bit of ink is the key!!!

Shaz- Thanks for the videos. I am watching a lot of You Tube videos this week too. I am getting over a migraine and severe asthma attack last week. I have been ordered to rest for a few days. Nothing more fun on sick days than You Tube. I used to watch game shows before the days of You Tube.

This link is something very cool you can do with reinkers. Don't think anyone mentioned it yet. It's too great to miss.

Now that I just bought reinkers for all my pads, I am going to try it.

Rachelrose, just added that to my list. I have watched so many You tube vids this last week,lol. I discovered Kevin Nakagawa has put up loads of Stampscapes tutorials- thats me occupied for at least another week!

Yeah, I've watched some of those. Stampscapes are not something I am drawn to work with myself, but I think the stamps are really stunning and he really shows how to create so many fantastic scenes with them!

I haven't had time to check through the videos other people have linked.
But, when you use the ink pad and mist it with water, you're covering quite a large surface quickly and evenly. I would think the effort of trying to spread re-inker evenly on the non-stick surface would be way too much trouble for me - by the very nature of the craft sheet it will be hard to spread. There are plenty of other easy things to use your re-inkers for .

So, you can do that with them. In the video, Beate uses both reinkers and pads to paint in an image. But she used very tiny drops.

I do think Sabrina is right about using them for wrinkle free distress, pads are better. Although if you dropped very tiny drops here and there you might get an interesting effect.
