SU ink clearance... retiring?

Just curious, is SU planning to retire Real Red or Cherry Cobbler? Or are the old ink pads the ones that are on clearance?

If you click on the description of the product (the stamp pads) they say "slightly raised fabric pad" so it looks like they're just getting rid of the stock of the old pads (before the new firm foam design) - the ones with the fabric that tends to fray at the edges and the centers dip down.

Oh no...don't say stuff like that out loud!! <knocking on wood> <psh psh psh> Cherry Cobbler is my FAVORITE color!! Maybe they are just selling off the old STYLE ink pads and the old STYLE of ribbon? Maybe they will come up with an awesome wide ribbon! Maybe different fabric or something!

I believe they are selling off their old style pads since all the of the new pads are firm foam now. I think at one point, there were 20 colors on the clearance list, so I doubt all those colors would be retiring.

I would say order the Cherry Cobbler in the new ink pad style. I had it in the old, and it got funky--all blotchy and no matter how many times I reinked it, it didn't work. I threw it away and bought the new style pad and love it.
