This week's SCS Inspiration Challenges comes from House 8810 which describes itself as:
"that house on your block. You know the one. The one
you drive by slowly and it makes you sigh. The one you walk the dog
by in hopes that the lights are on so you can take a peek inside.
It's the one that wins yard of the month consecutively, and is always
immaculately decked out for each holiday. It's the house that
somehow still has the time to host the best parties in town. It's the
one that makes you look at your house, and think "how do I get you
to be more like House 8810?"
I asked Carole ( ckbythesea ) to join me in making an additional card to inspire you.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, Ive uploaded five of my favorites so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration.
The rest of you, remember to let us know which item from House 8810 that inspired you.
Use the keyword: IC367 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
I really enjoyed the retro items on this week's inspiration site, House 8810! Stephanie and I both found Western items to inspire our creations, but there are so many possibilities here. I look forward to seeing what inspires everyone else this week!
Oh my goodness! I have my house decorated with this stuff. I hope I can get back today, but there's a lot of "stuff" going on today. I LOVE THIS SITE. I sure hope I can play.
Oh how much fun this was to look through Stef!! The past has such a warm feeling and these games and things bring back good memories. Thanks for always finding these things. :>)
Had just a bit of time to play before the real day begins. This is such a wonderful site and I can remember seeing and having a lot of the things that are shown. The Quaker always had a fancy tablecloth on the table and the one I picked reminded me of her. Here is my card IC367 Swirly Inspiration by Mrs Noofy - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Great site Stef! I was inspired by the retro Santa Tray- decided to make a dc round ornament, using my Grand Calibur circle die. Added a Santa Clause cap from my stamping buddies, a dc sentiment, and traditional holly and berries images. Here's Polka Dots Ho Ho Ho , hung on my Advent Tree.

Thanks Stef, for taking us to such a cool webstore full of retro/vintage items! I am enjoying spending this entire dreary, cold, rainy day making cards! Here's one more:
I was inspired by the traditional from my childhood Christmas Lace-up Cards and used SU's Big on Christmas set for my sentiment. My background is stamped with a large Tim Holtz stamp. Finished with snowflakes and a fabric tie. Here's Christmas Snow
