How to add pattern to plain clothing stamp

Hi, My name is Angela. I am new here, and I would like to learn how to add pattern from decorative paper to like Magnolia Tilda stamp or any character stamp. If I am asking the question in the wrong location, I apologize in advance. Thank you!

Just stamp your stamp on pattern paper and cut out parts you want and paste them on your stamped image.

I agree with the others.

This is just something I do when cutting out the original image. I cut slightly inside the line on the portion that will be covered with the patterned paper. I can't match exactly when adhering the patterned paper so cutting just inside on the bottom image keeps it from 'peeking' out around the patterned paper. Less frustration. I also use liquid glue when adhering the patterned paper because it give you time to adjust the top layer.

As the other person said, it is fun and takes your crafting to the next level.

I've done it on many stamps. I have a little girl holding an umbrella and I make the rain coat, umbrella and her boots all match in patterned paper. Really looks cute.

Yes it is fun to stamp and cut out on pattern paper. But one thing to make sure is to make sure that if you are stamping on say lines to make sure they are in the correct direction. I've used scraps only to find out that I stamped in the wrong "direction" and had to stamp over again...
