Question ? about SU!'s Textured Boutique machine

Hi all...
I am very interested in the TB machine, however I would like to know what the actual physical dimensions of it are...at least roughly... Looks like it's a downsized cuttlebug...which I have, but I'm thinking of getting it for my mom for Christmas. She's 85 and makes ALL her cards..and likes embossing, but doesn't have any die machines at all, and at 85, hand embossing is a bit tough!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I figure some of you demo's mush already have one??!!!!

TIA!!
Karol

From the Sizzix site:

Machine Size

8" x 5" x 9", plus 2 1/2" handle

I don't think any of us have one of the machines because none of us knew about it until today! They didn't do a pre-order or anything, just announced it! There may be others (demo and non demos) who do have one from sizzix though! So much going on with SU right now my head is spinning, lol!

I have the Sizzix TB. It's perfect for embossing. It's not heavy and very easy to crank.

I don't think the machine is any different, is it? It looks the same in the pictures.

I have the TB machine. I got it when my BS died and I needed to emboss right away while I was waiting for the new parts for my BS. It is great if all you want to do is emboss. I still use it to emboss even though my BS is fixed now.

I just meant that no one had one from SU as we just found out about it today and weren't given a preorder. I was sure people would have them from non SU sources:-) My guess is that it is the same. I'd never seen it before today:-)

Yes, the info says it is the same machine.

Because this is a product test, the Texture Boutique is not branded with the Stampin' Up! logo. It comes in Sizzix packaging and is the same color and design that is sold in stores.
So if it goes well, they may offer an SU branded machine in the future.

Karol, just wanted to say God bless your mom! 85 years young ;) and likes to make her cards & emboss too!! Good for her! I think you might be able to find the Sizzix texture boutique machine at AC Moore or Joanns. You could probably even find it online as well. It is used strictly to emboss as far as I know. Since that is what your mom wants to do, sounds like it could be perfect for her. Good luck!

Thr picture looks just like the one at Michaels. Would probably be great for 85 year old mom. You may already know this but it does not cut. Only emboss.
Blessings.
