I am so excited about the Holiday Blitz Tutorials that are being shared each day in the Resources section. There are SO many fun ones that we will probably be doing a lot of them in my Technique Challenges up to the holidays!
The challenge I chose for today is so much fun -- it looked so hard when I saw Beate's sample and even when I glanced at her amazing tutorial, but it is SO EASY! You have to try these. It took like two minutes to make the tree.
, I was hoping that maybe it would be something from the Holiday Blitz for the TLC. I'll be along whenever I get the housework and shopping done. Thanks, Judy.
Hey Judy.............haven't made these since last year but Beate's tutorial is SOOO much simplier then getting out the compass and trying to fold on the lines !! ha ha
Busy morning but will be back to play later..........

Judy, you are so correct.....cute and EASY! Part of the "easy" might be Beate's excellent instructions. : ) Love the look of the trees and the chance to use them in a variety of styles. I went sort of elegant. Thanks, Judy & Beate!
This looks cool! I have never did this challenge before - but looking forward to trying it out. Thanks so much for giving us something new to try.

Thanks for sharing Beate's fun tutorial today, Judy! Something to share with my stamp club this week : ) I even followed pretty closely Beate's sketch she used in her tutorial:
Thanks Judy, for this fun tree and tutorial from Beate - I finished the whole card and then realized my trees are upside down in my dsp! I guess it's Monday!
I don't know why this was such a challenge for me! But now I have four trees with Stickles drying and I'll be back with a card or two later on. Thanks for the cute tree technique!
This challenge was so fun! These trees are fun and easy. Beate, thanks for posting the tutorial. I watched it twice. I didn't have a large circle punch or nestiblity, so I used a cd, traced around it, and cut it out.
I created a Tri-Shutter card (my first one!) and the back panel features one of these adorable trees! Once I figured out the last fold (which I had to be tired because I watched the video 4 times) ... I was fine - LOL! Thanks for looking
