It's all about the
design .
* Uncluttered
* lots of white or open space
* one main focal point
It's all about the
design .

Nice sketch with the banners. But I have a question that perhaps someone can offer some hints about. I don't have a banner punch or die, and I always have trouble getting the points even on banners. I've tried placing a square die at the end of a strip, but even that comes out crooked. I've tried using rulers too. Once I get a decent shape, I can trace it to make more, but it's getting that first shape even that I find hard. Any suggestions?

Val, I always use the SU square punch, if it is a little crooked, I punch it again. I kinda like crooked somedays...lol. You could always cut the corner off of a piece of paper and then line it up on another strip of paper and use a pencil to outline and cut. hth...have fun!

What a great, versatile, fun, sketch! I kept to the flags and Christmas theme as so many did today - I need to get my Christmas cards stocked up!
