Scrappin' Challenge 2012

Can you believe this is our 4th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009, 2010 & 2011 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2012! Let's keep scrappin'.

It was SO fun to see everyone's goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2012! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...

What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!

Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person will post what their scrapbook page goal is for February. We will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. Along with the scrapbook page goal for this month, if you'd like to play along with the "Using Stash Crew" decide what your scrapping budget will be for that month.

*In this thread, we'll track how we do for the month. Look HERE to share and track your Annual Goals. *

You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!

The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done, use more in our stash before buying new (well at least keep track) and if you want to play along w/ saving --- save $$ at the same time which becomes scrapping budget $ for next year -- or vacation money or Holiday fund!

SCS 52 Week Thursday Goal Challenge!

I didn't make my goal last month--had lots of other things going on. Gonna be pretty busy this month too, and since I'm close to my yearly goal, I'll go for 8 pages this month.

I will add this page to my total for the month but it won't be finished until after the 4th Tuesday. Gee, maybe it will be the first page finished during the Crop Pink at my LSS this month.

I'm going to try for 10 pages this month. I also want to do 10 cards - I'm way behind in cards this year, and since its the season to send cards, why not?

I'm gonna be bold and do a LOAD challenge this month, so put me down for 31. I have a crop on the 27th, so if all else fails I can play catch-up then. My first 2 layouts are done and posted in the gallery.

This idea was great incentive for me last month. I did not make a public commitment but had it in the back of my mind while working. I, of course did not do a LOAD for September but it did get me crackin to do more than what I commited to.

Hi my scrappy friends! I have missed you guys! I've been a busy worker bee preparing for a craft show next Saturday. So far I've made over 80 cards, 7 scrapbook pages and one journal. I still need to make more though. I can hear the clock ticking! This has been good though because I am learning to use my SU supplies in scrapbooking (besides just the paper).

Anyone live near Winchester, VA? We are headed there the end of this month to visit Shenandoah University. Emily is auditioning on Friday and then she is taking the ACT test on Saturday there because we won't be able to get back home in time. Trying to schedule all this is crazy!

I doubt I'll get any personal scrapping in this month. boohoo! Have a great weekend!

Well September was a bust yet again! Ugh!
But.......BUT!!!!!!......I am going to a 3 day scrap retreat at the end of the month and hope to get lots accomplished.

I'm going for 25 pages for October!

Yay for scrap retreats! I am missing the one I usually go to in November because the girls have a dance thing that weekend. grrr! I have one in January though. A great way to start the year!

Wow! You ladies have started the month off with some FANTASTIC pages! I still haven't gotten page one started, been sick and running two fundraising programs, along with the girls busy schedules. Next week is Homecoming week for dd1 so always great photo ops then. I'm hoping tomorrow brings me some free scrappy time.

Aw, Mary Pat. It's no fun being sick, especially when you have kids AND two fundraisers to run. I'm afraid I don't have that kind of energy anymore! I hope you get a little time to relax and do some scrapping!

I'm back to the "Land of the Online" ... whew! I sure missed my computer. I started a class this week so it ws even more nerve wracking that I was supposed to be working on that ... All good!

I'm in for 20 this month, I think we're headed to a 1 Day Crop. ;)

I had an impromptu playday with some of my customers today. We made two cards and two 3D projects.

ugh i always say i'm back when i find time to scrap but never get anything done... but just popping in to say hi. nice to see familiar faces/names and hopefully i'll find time to pop back in here once school is over in december. so that means no goal for me until the end of the year - if i get anything done i will be happy with that and not feel bad about meeting a goal lol.

Last month I got 4 out of my goal of 5 pages done! Which means I'm bumping this months' goal to 6 pages. haha... I am dismally away from my yearly goal but this has just been that kind of year. I was thikning about the LOAD but I'm afriad I'd have to get up at 6 to even try and that is just not something I can do, hahaha! 715 about kills me as it is and that's to get kids off to school. Anyway, I hope to be back soon to check the challenges!

Ok, need some breathing exercises. Em just got acceptance letters from two of the three colleges she applied to. They are just academic acceptances. She still has to audition for the dance programs. The third school won't do anything until she auditions which is the end of this month. (inhale in, exhale out, inhale in, exhale out) Keep reminding me of that. LOL! Did I mention that all three schools are 8-10 hours away!
