Scrappin' Challenge 2012
Can you believe this is our 4th year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2009, 2010 & 2011 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2012! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to see everyone's goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2012! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person will post what their scrapbook page goal is for February. We will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. Along with the scrapbook page goal for this month, if you'd like to play along with the "Using Stash Crew" decide what your scrapping budget will be for that month.
*In this thread, we'll track how we do for the month. Look HERE to share and track your Annual Goals. *
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done, use more in our stash before buying new (well at least keep track) and if you want to play along w/ saving --- save $$ at the same time which becomes scrapping budget $ for next year -- or vacation money or Holiday fund!

It's November!!!! Yikes!
Well, I'm in the scrappin' mood. I've been getting lots done.
In October , thanks to my retreat, I got a total of 30 pages done. So, I beat my October goal by 5! Wooooo! Whoooo!
To meet my goal for the year, I will need to finish 30 pages in November and December.
So, here I go, I'm in for 30 pages this month . Here's hoping that the Holidays are kind to me and I can do it! hahahahahahaha

Somewhere along the line, Lela, I mistakenly listed my year's goal as 144, when it had started out as 120. So, in keeping with my original goal of 120, I'm only 7 short--having 113 pages done. Since the holidays are fast approaching, I think I'll set my at 7 pages for November, please! (And could you adjust my goal in post #1 back to 120--my bad!  )
With any luck, I'll get several done this weekend with the challenges for Digital Scrapbooking Day (11/3/12). (Come and play the challenges, ladies, no matter whether you're a digi scrapper or traditional!)

I have a question on this challenge. I see they will be posted an hour apart. Do you have to have your page(s) done within that hour or is there a specific deadline? I'm thinking about joining but I have a SU party to go to so I won't be able to do anything until tomorrow night. |

Well, It's Nov. and I'm going with 10 pages again.
Not quite up to speed still. I did make goal last month did a few challenges and did a few mini albums also.
I still need to work on timely upload. Just uploaded Oct this morning lol. Had a little too much fun Halloween . I will be homebound after first week of Nov. crafting for Christmas, so it should be easier for me to do a couple pages a week and upload weekly. __________________ *tamcan *i think i can. i think i can.

They're actually scheduled on Sat. for every 2 hours, but you don't haveto finish them by then. You have until next Sunday (11/11/12) at 11:30 EST to finish any or all of them. We'll pick a "winner" from each challenge thereafter.

Hi everyone � I think the last time I was here was in February. Life was busy at work getting things in order before I retired and then taking care of hubby when he has knee replacement surgery followed by a quick trip to Alabama to take care of my 89 mom when she forgot to take her blood pressure medicine. So now, I am getting back into the swing of scrapping � my goal is to get back my son�s and DIL�s wedding album done. I want to give it to them when they get here for Thanksgiving, if not, by Christmas!
My goal for November is 12 pages!

Been having fun in my craft room getting pages done for my son�s and DIL�s wedding album. I stayed up late last night � the �extra hour� we got when we turned the clock back was put to good use! Have a half-finished layout sitting on my desktop and two other layouts planned. My goal is to be able to give the album to them at Thanksgiving. TFL!

hey Tam, I will be doing something "similar". I've never done a December Daily but I'm hooked on the Simple Scrappin' and my "BOM" is coming together in journal using this system. It's really fun because I've found I do take pictures lots more often of just what's happening that day so I did purchase the "Christmas Pages". I hadn't thought about putting them together ahead of time but I might just do that so I'll try to share ... :cool:

Happy November
well... I'm already looking forward to time off during the holiday week as I love to stamp and scrap during those days. It's usually cold and yucky, boys are pre-occupied (or in this year's case possibly not here) and with Christmas songs playing in the background it's just seems to spark my MOJO. (It also helps I'm a majority online shopper, LOL!)
This weekend I went to a Crop (left all the "electronics") home and got 30 pages done. It felt good. I'll be uploading soon.

Hello Ladies...
Seeing the light at the end of the tunnel!!! We had our Fundraiser on the 3d and we made over $1300 profit; the event went well except we did not get many shoppers. The vendors were not happy they did not make sales but since I was upfront about this being a first time event they were still happy with how we ran it and all marked they would like to be invited back. This week I need to put my house back together; dd2 has a lacrosse tournament next weekend but I hope to get back to scrapping next Monday. I hope to take my 'breaks' in the gallery to leave some luv this week, I know it'll be inspiring!
