To this day I can't make cream of chicken soup without being reminded of a dear friend who stayed with us over twenty years ago when she was first diagnosed with, and being treated for, breast cancer. She had a terrible time with her chemo and couldn't really eat for a couple of days afterwards, so the day she went in for her treatment I'd cook up a big pot of cream of chicken soup, and it would be ready waiting when I picked her up from hospital the next day.
So my challenge to you is to use a chicken (hens and roosters are acceptable too ) on your card, and elements that spell the word S-O-U-P.
No chicken stamps? There are plenty of possibilities with punch art and even with finger painting.
S - Spellbinders, stripes, silver, scallops, shoes...
O - ovals, orange, orchids, office supplies...
U - umbrellas, UTEE, underwear, ultramarine blue. As far as I'm concerned parsley and carrots (and Queen Anne's Lace) are all part of the Umbelliferae family so if you want to go all out with the soup theme, be my guest ;-)...
P - PINK, pearls, peacocks, poppies, patina...
Be as imaginative as you wish, but please do share your "spelling" in your write-up so we can all enjoy your souper-creativity.
And please pay attention to all the uploading instructions, including the first one if you want to be eligible for prizes.

Thank you for participating in this card drive!
I have some lovely samples to inspire you and whet your appetite - my thanks to my assistant chefs meerkat3 (Leslie), muzbysmom (Lynn) and PH in VA (Patricia) for cooking up such tasty treats.
Oooohhhh ya got my brain moving..... trying to think of things for the U and the P and still have a cohesive card. LOL!
Just you wait - apart from Ovals O was even harder than U, LOL.
I'm still wowed by the fact that Patricia fit a Unicorn into her sample and it's just perfect.
That unicorn is just AWESOME! At first I thought it was the sentiment (Be Unique) and then it dawned on me that she used a unicorn. So cool!!! Now I wish I had a unicorn stamp!!! LOL
LOVE the samples!!! I have a cute chicken stamp so now I just need to come up with SOUP.

OK Sabrina, I thought of what I was going to do on my way into the office.....Yippee! I'm a little stuck on the U but I could do it. Thanks for the challenge.
I LOVE travel time for thinking of challenges! I'm so glad that my time zone means I often have time at work to think before I get home. I'm sure U can do it, Connie.
Sabrina- what a wonderful story! I used SU's Country Morning set for my rooster and chick and spelled out soup as:
S- Sow Seeds of Love
O- Orange Flowers
U- Under the Rooster- there's the chick!
P- Pink background
I started with the rooster image first so that took me in a more rustic, vintage direction which fit right onto the patina bg I already had....not only that, but I know Sabrina usually likes my masculine cards so here's Chicken SOUP for my Uncle

Woo-hoo, I'm so glad you already had some handy Patina - it's gorgeous!
This is definitely a challenge, Sabrina. I can think of things for every letter, but then to get them to all coordinate somehow ....
I made a list and managed to make a card that I think you'll like. Just a few finishing touches left to do, then I hope to photo and upload when I get back late this evening.

I'll probably catch you tomorrow, then, Val - it's nearly bedtime here and I'll be shutting the PC down in about ten minutes. A list was the only way I could manage it ;-).
for today's chicken S-O-U-P challenge, I made a rooster, using SU's Pennant punch and place and punch- blossom.
S- Shiny red cord
O-Orange rooster beak
U- for You (in my stamped message)
P- perked coffee
Hope you like- How have you bean?
