2012 Cards for A Cause ~ OCTOBER MISSION ~ Stamp from the Heart!

UT MD Anderson Cancer Center
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and SCS has always done a wonderful job of promoting and supporting this annual event. In conjuction with the Hope You Can Cling To October challenges which are organized by the SCS Community Manager, Lydia (understandblue), we are also featuring the MD Anderson Cancer Center as our October destination.
Think Pink! Upbeat ~ Uplifting ~ Encouraging. Our goal this month is to send cards to the MD Anderson Cancer Center to be used to lift the spirits of the breast cancer patients being treated there as well as their families. Last year this was an extremely successful event and the cards are very appreciated! Many stampers received personalized letters from MD Anderson thanking them for their cards! Its a wonderful cause this month.
SPECIAL RESTRICTIONS:
MD Anderson is part of the State of Texas. They ask that no religious sentiments be used on the cards sent to their facility.
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Please package all cards with an envelope, protected with a clear plastic bag and mail them to the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center to benefit patients being treated for breast cancer and their family. We would like for them to receive cards throughout the month of October, but we understand if you'd like to mail all your cards at once.
Since these cards will be used by visitors for patients the cards should be blank inside.

We post a different organization here each month so you know whenever you have cards you would like to send out, you can come here for a good cause!
Mailing a big Flat Rate box of cards and stuff today. Bad me, I didn't count before I sealed up the box. I know there were at least 40...not sure how many more. Had a blast trying to keep up with all of the challenges!
Wowza...you guys rock! Whew! That was quite a month of Breast Cancer challenges...it is so awesome! Never to late......just mail away...thank you all so much for playing along.....all month......
