Challenge Title: Who Let the Dogs Out?
Hostess: Tammie E
Keyword: HYCCT1226
Date: Friday, October 26, 2012
Hello and welcome to the 3rd Annual Hope You Can Cling To card drive! As the month begins to wind down, I hope you've had the opportunity to participate in some (or all) of the challenges. It's such an amazing event and and we're glad to have you join us in this worthy cause!
Cancer affects almost everyone in one way or another; whether it's you, a family member or a friend. 2012 has been exceptionally tough for my family...we lost both my mother- and father-in-law to cancer in July and September of this year. It's the continued support of family and friends that helps us get through this difficult time in our lives.
My challenge to you: make a project to support someone that may be having a "ruff" day. Your project must have a dog on it. Although it is not a requirement to include pink, it would be great if you could work it in!
I can't wait to see what you create! Remember, to be eligible for prizes, you must upload your project to the HYCCT gallery. Have fun!

4. Please package all challenge entries with an envelope, protected with a clear plastic bag and mail them to our partner at the UT MD Anderson Cancer Center to benefit patients being treated for breast cancer and their family. We would like for them to receive cards throughout the month of October, but we understand if you'd like to mail all your cards at once.
5. Since these cards will be used by visitors for patients, most should be blank inside, but feel free to send cards with messages of hope for the patients in addition to your challenge cards!

Thanks to Dina, Sabrina, Patricia and Bridget for making samples and a special thanks to YOU for participating in this card drive!
Lovely challenge. I lost both of my Great Pyrenees to bone cancer 1 yr after the other. So it does affect anyone or any animals. I'm sorry to hear about your losses.
Thanks, Connie! It's always hard to lose a loved one, but it's nice to remember them in a special way too! Have fun a work (if that's even possible...ha!) and I'll be watching for your puppy card!
YESSSSS! As a HUGE dog lover this is my FAVORITE challenge so far!! YAAY doggie cards! How can a card with a doggie on it NOT brighten someone's day, you know? THANK YOU!!
I'm not a dog lover, but decided to get some cute animal/get well images when I won a prize in DTGD so I had just the right image. It was a ruff day for pictures for sure...line up the shot, wind blows it down, repeat! Ruff Day
I had to let our hound out at 27 degrees this morning, wasn't fun especially when she just wants to sniff & I'm freezing. I'm looking forward to this challenge when I get home, hoping there's not to much traffic but least the snow has stopped.

Have a great day!
OMGosh...snow!?! I couldn't even imagine! We have rain today (and pretty much every day in late fall/winter). It's looking like a busy day for me today, but I'm hoping for some craft time this afternoon. Fingers are crossed anyways!
For one of my alltime favorites- dogs- I used SU's Paris in the Spring- for my poodle, stylish gal on a scooter, and oodles of purchases made in ooh la la Paris! Added a pumpkin border and black and white tie- and finished with a pink sparkly heart Here's Paris and Pumpkins

Soooo many dog images...so little time. LOL! I had a difficult time trying to decide which dog image I wanted to use.
Thanks for this fun challenge!
Here is my card.
Tam! You've seen my stamp collection. In that whole mess, there's one- only one- dog image. The only reason I've that one is because it came with a collection of other interesting animals... Cat person, here. Even as I'm typing, the Terry cat is on my desk, supervising.

Gosh, it's 9:00 barely starting on my doggie card, had a long day at work 12hrs...but it's over & now it's create time. The kids are making their treat pockets for their classes too.
I was trying to upload my card a couple of hours ago, but SCS was slow and then said it didn't recognize the format of my photo. So I waited awhile and tried again - no problem this time. Computers!
I am definitely a dog lover, and want to hug every dog on the cards submitted so far. But I seem to have only one dog stamp. Must do something about that.
I mentioned to hubs and the teenage son on the way home from dinner last night that your challenge was who let the dogs out and there was supposed to be a song called that... someday I will have to look at utubes and see if its on there. ( they were so shocked I had never heard of it or heard the song ) lol... so, I dont know if this card fits that theme because of it, but it does have a dog and a bit of pink...
Tammie, thanks for the great challenge. I seem to be lacking in dog images...can't believe that...with all my stamps but it's true. So I went looking for a digi. Thanks so much for hosting this challenge, Tammie!
Cute challenge Tammie Don't know why the sentiment appears blurred in the photo because IRL it is clear as a bell. Probably my unsteady hand when I take pics!! Playing catch up and here is my card for your challenge:
