Fabulous autumn colours!! And what I think of as a typical American barn.
I finally got some photos when we were over in the west last weekend.
Plenty of barns there, but with narrow roads (some of them are so narrow that it's hard to pass an oncoming car without slowing down almost to a stop, so pulling in isn't easy) and rain it wasn't always easy even then to take a photo.
On our first walk I spotted a lovely one, and a suitable space to pull in and park, but on the way back it was lashing rain.
On the way up to the north Clare coast I spotted two more, one with a good parking spot...but we came back a different way.
So here's what I did get. The barns are all fairly typical of what you see on small rural farms round the country, but I'd like to add that the landscape is very atypical - the Burren is a very unique landscape!
